If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen this outfit already but I wanted to share the details with all of you. I have been wearing shorts all Summer long and am ready for long pants. I’ve been testing the waters with wearing jeans topped with a sleeveless top and that seems to be keeping me cool.

I really love the Carrie Cami in Watercolor Floral. I think the colors in it complement my skin tone well and they really pop when worn with white. The sandals are from J Crew and I love the color. They are some of my favorites though I don’t wear them enough.

This Navy short-sleeve pocket cardigan is from J Crew of yore; maybe 2008? I really love it and wish they would bring this back. The Factory had them about three years ago and I only grabbed one, in White. I thought they’d keep offering them but they haven’t been back since. I keep my hopes up during each new release, especially in Spring.

I was pretty comfortable in this outfit for the evening. The sweater was so lightweight I barely noticed I had it on.
Hope everyone is having a Great Day!

We have been experiencing some wondrous Spring-like weather since the weekend. While some of you are covered in snow, we hit the low 80s on Tuesday. Don’t worry, we’ll be cold and rainy again by the weekend.
Since it’s been gorgeous outside, I wanted to take advantage and wear my new Tory Burch Lou Tee. I wasn’t expecting to put this on until March. It pairs so well with last year’s Factory Keating Boy Blazer in Chambray (Land’s End). And to think I almost put it in the “for sale” pile. This tee needs no jewelry since it’s embellished at the neckline and hem.
I chose my Cleos (Factory Cara) over my Metallic Martinas and my trusty Cropped Skinny Jeans. I will definitely re-create this look but with white jeans and sandals once it gets warmer.
This is one of my favorite looks this year!

Have a Great Day!

The Cashmere Lizzie Tunic was one of the items I bought during the Tory Burch promo over the Thanksgiving week. It’s one I have been wanting to buy for a while and was able to find it on sale and with a promo. It’s so very soft in 100% Cashmere. The description states this is long-sleeved but I found it to be bracelet-sleeved. The v-neck isn’t so low that you are exposed. I don’t feel a cami underneath is needed. The Navy and Ivory stripes are a beautiful and striking combination and the all navy neckline helps make a nice contrast against them.

I ordered a Medium which is my normal size. I couldn’t have asked for a better fit. I also bought this in Black for MamaBella. I think the Pearl Twisted Hammock Necklace will be beautiful against the all Black Cashmere Tunic.

I very happy with my first Tory Burch Cashmere purchase. Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing a great dress I bought during the promo as well.
Have a Great Afternoon!

Some days you just know you’ve created the perfect outfit. The outfit that makes you feel amazing and chic and puts a little more bounce in your step. The hair and make-up may not be perfect but that outfit, oh the outfit, you want to wear it, or at least recreate it, every single day. Some people have a knack for pulling clothes out of their closet and it just works. Every time. I do not have that ability. Creating that perfect outfit daily is something I cannot do without a little help from my friends. (Pinterest, the Stylebook App, Instagram, other Blogs).

But today, I loved what I created. I just bought the Harvest Moon Poncho over the weekend during the 20% off sweaters promo. I tried it on with this skirt (reviews coming soon) and loved it. It has that bat-wing, open-side, dropped/no shoulder trend/s going on. It’s see-though so layering is in order and it’s a turtleneck, something I stay away from. But the turtleneck is slouchy and wide. Pushing up the sleeves helps with the bat-wing and the Silk Sleeveless Blouse was the perfect layering piece.

I even have little bulldogs on my socks (J Crew). I don’t see them online but they were in the sale section in-store. There are Elephants, Bows and I also love these Anonymous Isom socks
I was totally comfortable all day long.
Now to figure out what to wear tomorrow.

This image below inspired my next outfit. I loved the simplicity of it.
The Cashmere Tee in short-sleeves was perfect for the cool evening. I have these in many colors, in both short and long-sleeves. I have the basic colors – black, navy, grey, white – and then a few saturated colors in dark green, red, and bright pink. I wear my basic colors a lot in the Winter, usually layering them over button-downs or under a blazer. Add a necklace, though I didn’t here, and I’m ready to go for the day or night.

I swapped out the printed jeans for my white jeans. I have never worn white jeans or skirts in the Fall or Winter. I’ve worn Ivory or Winter White but not a true White. I would like to try to incorporate these into my Fall wardrobe, if not the Winter too, but I’ll only wear these when the weather is nice.

We went to a restaurant we frequent weekly and sit at the bar so I didn’t want to over-accessorize. I could have used a belt at a minimum though. The bartender made a pumpkin spice shot that didn’t look like it was going to be tasty when he was making it but turned out to be really really good. I was pleasantly surprised.

Can you believe it’s November? My calendar is filling up quickly so I hope to have several Que Bella’s for you this month.

What are you thoughts on wearing true white bottoms during the Fall and Winter? Do you stick to the “No white after Labor Day” fashion rule?
