I’m a little obsessed these days with Tory Burch and Metallic Shoes. So when I saw the Sadie Slingback Pump for Pre-Order at Nordstrom I clicked on through and waited for a ship date. Sadly, when they arrived they were a half size too big. I had ordered my normal size 7 and the slingback does not adjust. They are sold out of the 6 1/2 so I wasn’t able to exchange them either and were returned.

I stopped by my Tory Burch store to see if they could find them somewhere for me as they were also sold out in my size online. Luckily!!! one of the SAs said they were getting the shoe in on Friday. Woo Hoo! So, here are the size 6 1/2 which is a much better fit.

The pointy-toe is not bothersome and my toes are comfortably in the shoe without being pinched.

They definitely elongate the foot.
I decided on this smaller heel so that I can wear them more often, like I would a pair of regular flats (Which I just happened to find at JC. Wait until next Shoes-day!)
Leather lining and soles; you have a love a well-made shoe.
Like the Audra Sandals, I am in LOVE with the heel detail. It was protected in felt when I opened the box. I know they won’t be seen much but I’ll know, and you will too!
More Sadie options…

Doesn’t the white seem to have a little 60s vibe? Too cute!

I am so very happy I was able to find my size in these. I have been waiting on them ever since I saw them in a magazine back in January. And they will look perfect with my Talia Dress!

Happy Shoes-day!

The Aberra Tee from Tory Burch has been on my wishlist since it came out. It was never in my local store so I wasn’t able to try it on. I decided to wait to see if my size made it to sale and luckily enough it did. With beautiful warm sunny days and busy weekends it feels good to bring in Spring without sweaters and coats.

The Boy’s Varsity Soccer Team is rolling through playoffs so I’m off to another game tonight! Hopefully this one is a straight up win. The last two games have both gone to 2 overtimes and Penalty Kicks! Nail-biters for sure.

Ladies, you know when you find that one item, be it a dress, skirt, hat, shoes, something, and know in an instant, without trying it on, that you love it. Then comes the dreadful part where you have to try it on, praying and hoping it fits, looks good on you, or flatters you because you really love said item.

This happened to me a Nordstrom last week. I was “making a return” of some slips that did not work out and took a glance at the Kate and Tory items. I saw the Talia Poplin Shirtdress and knew in that instant that I loved it. Then I saw the sleeves and they looked a little tight. But I grabbed a size 8 and, optimistically, went off to the fitting room.

I’m Cinderella and this dress is my glass slipper. The Talia Shirtdress was a perfect fit. Especially in the shoulders and arms. I can move and breath and am comfortable in it.
I originally pinned this dress from the Tory Burch Fashion Week images so it has been in my head for a little while.
The back is just as pretty and detailed as the front.

The colors and details of this dress are beautiful. They blend so well together. It’s cotton with a little spandex and lined in Cotton, which is so perfect for Summer.

This little detail is at the bottom of the dress. This image is true to the colors on the dress. I love how vibrant they are.

I didn’t buy this immediately but left it on hold to think about it. I wanted to see if something else caught my eye but the dress and I were meant to be as I couldn’t stop thinking about it.

And a shout-out to Wendy because as soon as I saw this dress it reminded me of her backyard and garden (scroll down). Wendy, has Tory been to your house? Maybe she saw your post and was inspired!

I cannot wait to wear Wendy’s Garden Dress! I have it on in the first pic with the Martina Metallic Wedges but will probably wear them in the Summer with the Lillian Mirror Metallic Low Wedge Sandal. I also have these little pretties coming to me. Look for a Shoes-day post next week on them.

Have a Great Day!

I was looking for a not-quite-white bag. I wanted something structured and classic. Enter the Robinson Open Dome Satchel in Ivory from Tory Burch. I have another Robinson Dome, in Navy, that I used almost  daily last Spring and am currently using now {review}.

Though I love that you can zip the bag closed on my Navy Robinson I like that this bag has a center zipper section so you can still keep your wallet and other sensitive items secure while having your sunglasses/cell phone/make-up, etc., handy in the two open sections.

This bag also comes with a Cross-body strap, which is handy for those weekend shopping trips. The leather is Saffiano and it comes with little feet at the bottom of the bag.

It’s a good size. Not too big or small. Though it fits on my shoulder the drop really isn’t long enough to keep it that way comfortably for any long period of time. I usually carry my bags in my hand or the crook of my arm.

I was making a return and found the Kerrington Tote. Though it comes in three other colors, I love this print with all the sunhats on this large tote. This is a true tote bag, completely open on the inside. I definitely see using this as a nicer beach bag or even a travel bag.

Love those sunhats!

There are no interior pockets but it does have a small leather pouch on the inside to protect any valuables you have.

Again, this is a large tote and the drop is longer making it more comfortable to wear on the shoulder.

And here are a few fun Sunhat items. Several of these items are now on sale!

Tory Burch has always had some lovely shoes. I have the Tevray Wedge Sandals, the Amalie Sandals and the Laser Cut Pumps. I found the Audra Sandal in Navy and Metallic in-store completely swooned over them. It was the heel detail that did me in. I had only planned on getting the Navy pair but when I tried on the Metallic for sizing reference I loved those too. I know I will wear these all Summer long. The heel is block and a little over 1 1/2 inches in height (45mm). Perfect for those women who want a little height but can’t wear heels very often.

Look at that detail! Just gorgeous.

I love the Navy because 1) Navy sandals are rare. 2) The footbed is Navy and not Tan like the Metallic.

I love how the Navy leather is the background for the gold Tory logo.

I’m really tired of this cold Winter and am so ready for Summer. New arrivals for Spring do not help relieve the Winter Blues but they sure are fun to shop. I did end up returning the Metallic pair since I purchased the Nori Laser-Cut Wedge.

Have a Great Day!
