This image below inspired my next outfit. I loved the simplicity of it.
The Cashmere Tee in short-sleeves was perfect for the cool evening. I have these in many colors, in both short and long-sleeves. I have the basic colors – black, navy, grey, white – and then a few saturated colors in dark green, red, and bright pink. I wear my basic colors a lot in the Winter, usually layering them over button-downs or under a blazer. Add a necklace, though I didn’t here, and I’m ready to go for the day or night.

I swapped out the printed jeans for my white jeans. I have never worn white jeans or skirts in the Fall or Winter. I’ve worn Ivory or Winter White but not a true White. I would like to try to incorporate these into my Fall wardrobe, if not the Winter too, but I’ll only wear these when the weather is nice.

We went to a restaurant we frequent weekly and sit at the bar so I didn’t want to over-accessorize. I could have used a belt at a minimum though. The bartender made a pumpkin spice shot that didn’t look like it was going to be tasty when he was making it but turned out to be really really good. I was pleasantly surprised.

Can you believe it’s November? My calendar is filling up quickly so I hope to have several Que Bella’s for you this month.

What are you thoughts on wearing true white bottoms during the Fall and Winter? Do you stick to the “No white after Labor Day” fashion rule?

I love my Kerrington Tote in Sunhats that I purchased this Spring I wanted one for Fall.

Of the three options for Fall, I ended up choosing the Floral print tote and love it. I love that this one has a zipper pocket attached to the inside of the tote and not a removable pouch like the Sunhat Tote.

We visited The Boy this past weekend and it was perfect for travelling. I was able to keep all of my essentials with me, including a cardigan for the chilly evenings. I have a few more travels before year’s end so it will come in quite handy. If this had a few more pouches it would be great as a chic baby bag.

The other item I purchased with the Labor Day promo at Tory Burch was a wallet/wristlet. I am still using a Kate Spade wallet I purchased from the Outlet and decided that instead of buying a new bag for the Fall Winter {like this one} I would find a new wallet that was more Fall-like instead. I would then continue to use my Robinson Open Dome in Ivory and then switch to my Robinson in Navy for Winter.

~ York Multi-Task Smartphone Wristlet, Dark Plum ~

The strap is removable. I’ll keep it with my jewelry so that if I decide to use it just as a wristlet when I go out it will be right there with my rings and watch.

I tried a few small “smartphone bags” last year that held my phone but not the case. The York Wristlet holds my iPhone with the case still one it. Love that!! There’s a small coin section and a few pockets for cash and receipts.

There are 6 slots for your DL and cards along with two more longer slips for hidden cash or a rewards card or two.

If you haven’t noticed by now, my Fall wardrobe will be mostly Navy and Burgundy (or that shade) with subtle pops of muted colors. I am loving it! Husband has been more vocal about what what he likes on me including colors. “Mr. Picky-Picky” has about 60% Navy in his closet to go with his black, brown and gray slacks. I dare not try any longer to buy or even select clothes for him as he just wrinkles his nose or rolls his eyes. If I do, I try to stick to a Navy theme to distract from the crazy print. LOL!

How are you transitioning your Summer pieces to Fall?

Tory Burch had a lovely Labor Day promo over the weekend and I stopped by the store to see if the items I had tried on last time {here and here} were still something I wanted. I really do love the Peg Shell but found the most wonderful silk shirtdress instead.

~ Cora Dress, size 6 ~

I have found that I am 90% consistently a size 8 in Tory Burch. I originally only grabbed the size 6 because it was the only one hanging in the store. There were other sizes in the back. If you’ve never been to a Tory Burch boutique, they have a few sizes out, like a 2/6/10 or S/M or S/L. All the rest of the sizes are in the back. The sales associates will happily get you whatever size you need. I still hate bugging SAs for sizes, especially if all I’m doing it trying on only so I try to grab the 6/8/M that might be out in the store. I’m 42! I shouldn’t be afraid of asking an SA for help!

Anyway, I sized down to a size 6 in this dress. It’s 100% silk without lining. Instead of a straight hem all around it is rounded in the front and back and has an extra panel on the sides that’s a little shorter.

I love this since the dress looks like, from the front, it is going to be very revealing and then the sides are covered up. It is also the reason why I was able to size down. I think if that extra panel had not been there the hips would have been a little tight and I would have gone to my normal size 8. It’s defnitely an “AudreyBella” dress. Just the right hem length and right amount of leg showing.
A nice close-up of the red floral print.
The online image shows the dress with the Simone Suede Over-The-Knee boots and tights. Above, I have paired the dress with both brown and black booties and black wedges. I would probably do a heel of some kind or the black booties, then add my Pixie Pant in Tuxedo Stripe {similar} and a belt and wear it as a tunic.
It also comes in a Horse Print and a “Hardware” Print. Personally, I think the red floral print will be a lasting print for years to come. I have added the Peg Shell to my wishlist so I can grab it when it goes on sale.
Did you get anything from the Tory Burch Labor Day promo?

There are lots of pretty work-appropriate dresses for Fall from Tory Burch. I was able to try on a few on Friday.

~ Maxine Dress, Size 6 ~

This dress is the same print as the Velda Tunic I reviewed, which I loved. Though it looks like the size 6 is a perfect fit I was unable to zip this past the waist. A size 8 would be the better size in this dress, and almost all Tory dresses I’ve tried. I love the pleating at the neckline to give the dress a little detail for an otherwise shift dress. It’s dresses like this one that make me wish I worked in an office daily, especially when it’s so comfortable in a silk crepe de chine.

~ Zandi Dress, Small, Petrol Gray ~

I reviewed the Zandi Dress before in Dot {here}. I love this floral printed one better. The Small was definitely the better fit from the previous Medium I tried. This dress is definitely on my wishlist, waiting for a promo or sale price.

~ Tatum Dress, Size 6, Black~

Another beautiful dress that makes me pine for office days. The crepe fabric is lovely and there is ruffle detail on either side of the v-neckline. I know the size 8 would be the best fit as the zipper, again, didn’t make it all the way up. The store usually has a small size like a 0 or 2 and then a size 6 put out in each item. All the other sizes are in the back. I could have asked for the right size but I knew I wouldn’t be buying it and didn’t want to waste anyone’s time to get the right size.

~ Libby Dress, Small, Tory Navy Pinstripe (also Dotted Pony Print) ~

I had an idea this dress would be in the running to come home with me when I saw it. It’s in a beautiful silk jersey, just like my London Blouse. There is seaming in front near the sides to help establish more of a shape. The V-Neck is not too low. With the jersey material I knew it would have a little give and so the size Small was the best fit. I see this easily transitioning into Fall with a Blazer and Winter with a sweater belted over it, using it as a skirt.

~ Walker Cargo, size 30, Dotted Pony ~
I sized to a 30 in these but because of my curves I would still need to go one size larger. These were fitted across the hips and general area. I would also need to hem these. They have a cargo pocket on either side starting just below mid-thigh. Overall, I really liked them and wished they were in my favorite Alexa jean style. I would have brought these home. I may try the size 31 to be sure but these will work much better on someone with a slimmer hip and leg.

I had a coupon and decided on the Libby Dress. I think I will wear it enough at home as well as date night and the office, when I do stop by.
I hope you enjoyed these reviews and maybe one or two items made it to your wishlist!
Have a Great Day!
