Looks like J Crew snuck in a little extra roll-out this week at the Factory. Here are my picks.

The Peplum Dress is in Stretch Cotton and looks gorgeous online.

The Gilded Jacquard we saw last year at the Retail store comes in shorts, a shirt, and a mini skirt.

The Jeweled Sweatshirt is back in two colors and short-sleeves.

I found the Addie Loafers in Chambray Dot at the B&M Outlet and they are just as cute in person, though I’ll probably return them.

The Anya Ballet Flat is back in the Hummingbird print. Great for those of you who prefer flats to heels.

Denim shorts in a two washes and also White.

I ordered the Coral Tweed Shorts to see how they looked IRL. I’m trying to be realistic with myself. I work from home and live in shorts all Summer long. Skirts and lightweight or sleeveless dresses are for date-night and even then, a dressy short and heels is the first outfit I plan.

The Bateau Striped tee is back in three colors: Pink, Navy and Grey. I ordered the first two.

Prices look to be low today, especially for the shorts and tees since there’s a online “sale” through tonight. I suspect they will return closer to the original prices tomorrow. I’ll have reviews tomorrow of a few Factory finds from the 50% off weekend.

Happy Shopping!

I took advantage of the 30% off Valentine’s Day special to order a few things from the J Crew Factory. The shipping was expedited as well.

I ordered the Scalloped Lace Tee in Grey Mist in a size 8. It also comes in Soft Mint and Apricot Mist. I like the fit in the 8 just fine. I recall I took a 6 in the retail version a year or so ago. I chose the Grey as I don’t have anything tops in this color. The Mint looks pretty as well.

I took a Medium in the Classic Button-Down in Gingham and it runs a little big. The sleeves are too long and it runs big through the body. I like the Gingham but I’m not sure I’ll wear it very much so I will return this.

The Pique’ Polo was a great deal at $17. I grabbed the Verte Green and White. The Cerulean Sea looks like a really pretty blue as well. This is a Medium. I have the Mint and Navy from last year and they have held up well. These are great to just throw on with any bottoms. Much more polished than grabbing a tee.

I ordered a few Clare Cardigans as they came to $21. I originally just wanted the Champagne but I figured I’d grab a few more colors to see them IRL and decide if they would be able be incorporated in my closet. With the crazy weather we’ve been having I think I may need cardigans a little more this year than in the past. I have the White already but felt I needed a back-up.

I am also waiting on the Short-Sleeve V-Neck Cardigans that are offered each year. Those are great to have handy as well. I wasn’t able to capture the Fresh Guava very well. The Champagne looks a little like the Jackie in Beechwood that I have (from a few years ago).
I always try to wait for an additional promo where the Factory is concerned. Prices jump around so often I always use Gigi’s Guide to Factory Prices. Now to decide which of the Clare’s I’ll keep.
Have a Great Day!

I ordered my normal 30 in the Midrise Skinny Jean in Distressed Indigo and they are a big in the waist and have a saggy bottom. I was lucky enough to find them in-store in a 29 and those fit much much better. I guess the denim has just a little more give.

The size 30 in the Midrise Skinny in Huron Wash, fit TTS.

I had returned the Skinny Jean in Black as the fit was just a little big and there were none in the store to exchange. When I exchanged the Distressed Indigo pair, I found a pair of retail Matchstick Jeans in Black in the Sale section for $29.99 plus 60% off. Yep, I bought a pair of retail jeans for $12.
I took my normal size 7 of the Factory version of the Darby Loafer, the Addie Printed Loafers

The bottom have a little felt-like material to help with traction.
