There were several things I purchased this year I really liked and enjoyed wearing (all J Crew pencil skirts) but my most favorite purchase was the J Crew Bisbee Satchel in Summer Hyacinth.

I have used it daily since I bought it. I changed it out at the beginning of December for the J Crew Campo bag I have and the Buena Notte bag but will be back to the Bisbee again this week. I have brought the CPW down to $1 a day, just through November. It transitioned well into Spring, Summer and Fall and is just a great bag.

I love it and it was my most favorite purchase all year.

Not to rub it in but this is the BEST weather. Cool enough for a light cardigan but you can still wear shorts. Not too hot or humid that you need a shower as soon as you walk out the door. Blue skies and not a cloud in the sky. LOVE IT!!

I received my Anthropologie order today and changed part of my original OOTD from my Polyvore set. I purchased the Brass Tack Wedges (on sale) and the Toe-Tapping Flats. I needed another pair of classic black flats and for $64 they were perfect. I love the studding on the Brass Tack Wedges…so cool.

Here’s the Polyvore.

And the IRLs…
Close to the edge…trying not to fall in or off.

I really like the print of this Kelsey ruffle cami. The ruffles are growing on me and I think the sweater tamed it down and kept me from looking too clown-ish. I bought this color of Jackie sweater, Pearl after seeing Gigi’s review of the Jackie sweaters. This is really a great color, not white, not gray…perfect IMO.
The shorts are just a different color of the the ones I wore yesterday. They are a 3 1/2 inch inseam but they do sit right on my hips (size 6) so they feel a little longer. I normally prefer 5 inch or longer (Bermudas) but these are great. I don’t feel like I’m over-exposing my legs. I would have never know if I hadn’t tried them on. The belt was an after thought when I was in the store. I wasn’t sure what I would wear it with but decided to bring it home anyway. Perfect for this outfit and with these shoes.
Also, CONGRATULATIONS to the winners of the Coffee Kozy Giveaway: AppGal, One Fashionista Diva, Ashley, Debra and Gigi.

I’m heading in to one of our market offices today and have the opportunity to wear my Rose Vines Perfect Shirt and use my Bisbee Satchel. My drop-in from The Plaid Purse hasn’t come in yet but it goes so well with what I’m wearing.

And Gigi reminded me that the coveting and visiting I was doing with this purse is called “faux rent”. Love it. Here’s her list of other “Crewlang“.

I first saw this purse in my store about two weeks ago. I immediately loved the color. So gorgeous for Spring and Summer. I thought about that purse and “visited” it three days in a row last week. I would grab it and walk around the store with it and then put it back every time. One day it even matched my outfit and I still put it back. But I couldn’t stop thinking about it and the color.

On Friday I went into the store again and told the SA “I’m getting this purse today.” She was so relieved. (I think she was just tired of seeing me for the third day in a row.) I have not transferred my stuff from my Mini Campo bag yet. I ordered a Drop-In Bag Organizer from The Plaid Purse in the Pink Camo and so I’m waiting on that.

Bisbee Satchel – Summer Hyacinth – 23175 – $268.00, This also comes in Tawny Brown and Jalapeno. There is also a tote but not in the Summer Hyacinth color.

Description from J Crew: An all-season classic to take you from work to the weekend. We took the softest tumbled leather we could find to craft this striking satchel, so it has the slouchy chic, ultra-comfy feel of your favorite well-worn leather bag. Wear it satchel style, carry it by the top handles or wear it across the body with the extra-long detachable shoulder strap. (With the drapey styling of the leather, we think it’s particularly stunning worn messenger style.) You’ll love the roomy construction, abundant pockets and pliant, downtown styling. A perfect bag for toting to the office or for weekend escapes, with places for your flip-flops, sunblock, cell and more.

The leather is so soft and the color, well, WOW! Totally love it. It has a side flap pocket, a side zip pocket and zips at the top. The interior is a cotton twill lining with a zip pocket and a cell phone pocket (these seem to come standard in most handbags now-a-days). It does not have a “hard” bottom so it will look very slouchy.

Here is the J Crew Mini Campo I own for comparison.
