Collection Suncation Dress

I have been waiting for this dress since I first saw it during the Spring 2013 Preview in January.

I was starting to think it wouldn’t be made as every roll-out of New Arrivals didn’t have it – until last week. I was so excited I clicked on through without launching Ebates first!
The Collection Suncation Dress is very pajama-chic with white piped edges and hems and a straight silhouette. It has a slight low-high hemline and is not lined. The design is printed on the matte side of the silk charmeuse and I will agree with the CFS that the silk does feel soft against the skin.
The size 6 is a great fit without any pulling at the chest or hips. I vary in size between 6 and 8 depending on the style of a dress. I’d say to go with your normal size on this one.

Side view of the low-high split hem…

As you can see this is not lined. The shiny silk is the inside of the dress.

The adorable designs…the Shuffleboard is cute while the lady sunbathing looks a little “hulky” to me.

The dress pairs nicely with the Collection Etta in Snakeskin, though IRL they read more blue than Violet. I’ll have a review of those soon. They are on sale right now for $249.99 plus 30% off. If you haven’t used your Rewards Card (like me) you can get them for $150 (like me).
You see can this print in the Vacationland Blouse on Ema and Beach Chic Girl.

I'm not a fan of the PJ trend, but I LOVE the dress!

JulieStyles – Thanks! I wasn't a fan either, especially after trying on the Foulard shirt but I think I just needed a dress in the style to sway me over.

Oh, that is so beautiful. I fear that this cut would look terrible on me, but maybe I can grab the shorts? I don't know…

I love your hair, it looks so pretty styled that way!

Dina – I definitely think you can rock those shorts! Thanks! Bangs definitely change things up with my hair, now to just manage the up-keep of them.

I love the dress, it would be just the sort of thing I'd want to pack up to take to Florida. I think it looks seriously fantastic on you!

I was on the fence on this one – but it looks so good on you that now i have to rethink my initial hmm…,,my fear is that everyone around here will think it is my pjs!

WMM – This isn't a very "crazy WMM print" but the dress is comfy like PJs. By reversing the material so the silk is on the inside, touching your skin, make the dress feel very soft.
