New Puffer Vests arrived for Spring at the Factory store. I tried on the Printed Puffer Vest and grabbed a few pics of the solid colors (at the end).

I take a Small in the Puffer Vests, even with layering. There are on-seam pockets. There are quilted channels instead of the diamond-shape on both the printed and solid.

Soft Grey, Bright Hydrangea, Bright Kiwi

I really liked the Soft Grey color of the solid version. I’m not sure how much used I would get out of them since I tend to grab my blazers during the Spring. If you’re interested I would definitely recommend getting one now, while they are 30% off. I don’t see them going any lower and they were frequently excluded from promos.

What do you think of the new Puffer Vests?

You’re going to get me in tights-with-shorts for this review set. I couldn’t bear to take them off and then have to put them back on. All shorts, on Monday, were 30% off. The SA stated new arrivals were going to be out on the floor today, so I just missed seeing everything. Online has also updated with new arrivals. There were already a few items in-store but the store was mostly bare, just waiting to be filled with new pretties.

~ 5″ Printed Stretch Chino Short, Dusty Blue, size 6 ~
These were almost sold out so I grabbed the only size I thought I could wear. I would definitely need an 8 since I couldn’t get them on. They are very vibrant in person, which I love. I know there are times when the Factory colors for a duplicate of the retail version get a little muted. If I didn’t know any better I would have thought this was the retail short. It’s a perfect dupe.
I have the retail version of these shorts, the Zig-Zag Stripe Short. The Factory pair has more of the darker blue than my retail pair. They also have a textured feel to them but not as much as the retail. The inseam is 3 inches but it doesn’t seem that short. If I didn’t have it already I would get the Factory pair. I’m always a size 8 in shorts. I’ve never varied from that for years. (those hips

I was indecisive about the retail dress and skirt that I missed out on both of them so I’m very excited to see shorts in this print. Not only is the print the same but so the baseketweave material feels the same as well. Usually, the Factory is a little thinner but this is just as thick and sturdy as the retail versions.
It looks a little high-waisted but that is probably due to the pleats below the waistband. The inseam is sitting at 4 inches.
I did get these and was able to pay $28 for them since the little Factory Frequent Shopper Card for 30% never did expire, according to the SA. Even though there is an expiration date on the back, they are still usable and they are still being given out.
Overall, these three pair of shorts are great duplicates of the retail versions. If you missed out, I definitely recommend these, especially the Scatter Dot shorts.

I was hoping I would find a nice casual dress for daily use. The jersey dresses are always nice for that.

~ Annette Dress, Oasis Persica, Medium ~
I’m not sure I’m a fan of the big floral print over the stripes. The belt wasn’t my favorite either. The fit of the Medium was snug and I would consider sizing up because of that. I don’t mind close-fitting clothing because there’s Spanx for that, but I think I might feel more comfortable in the Large.

It also comes in a pretty Blue Floral. I think I might like that one more since the print is smaller.

~ Elisabeth Printed Dress, Red Pepper, Medium ~
I tried on both colors of the Elisabeth Printed Dress. I knew I would like the Navy on me but wanted to see how the color of the red looked as well. I like it but prefer the Navy more. I also like that the Navy has stripes at the arms and hem.
The Medium is TTS and the length on both dresses hits above the knee on me.

~ Elisabeth Printed Dress, Navy Blue Issy Stripe, Medium ~
I’m just partial to Navy I suppose but I really like the look of this dress better.

I’ll be back later with some Factory reviews.

The Sage Top is so beautiful it deserves it’s own review post. I can’t even describe the detail on it so I’ll just give you what Tory said about it.

“Delicate and graphic, the design on our Sage Top features a toss of flowers, done in fil coupé, or cut threads, for a unique jacquard-like effect”

This is stunning in person. I tried it on to review only but was very very tempted to get it. But since it looks so delicate and dressy I wouldn’t be able to get many wears out of it.
I tried on a size 8, thinking it was a 10, and it fit pretty well. I was very cautious about the sleeves since they probably snag or tear easy.

This is lined in silk gazar and the website says it machine washable! I’d probably hand wash it, very carefully. I love that it’s lined in silk.

There’s a sweater as well, the Henrietta Sweater, that has the same flower on it and is just as gorgeous.

Have a Great Evening!

Each top I tried on was a completely different style from one another.

~ Tory Tunic, Birch Persica, size 8 ~
I love the Tory Tunics but I can’t wear them. I’m not really sure who can. At least not without layering a cami underneath. The Tory Tunic offered in the Resort Collection is so pretty with the large irises all over and the lightweight cotton voile.
Sadly, the sleeves are way too long and the v-neck almost matches the sleeve length, escandalo. I was wearing a cami that day so you can see the difference in the with and without. I guess for my height I should be in at least one size smaller so that the v-neck wasn’t so low, but the size 8 just fit. I’ll have to find this print in something else to wear.

~ Carmine Sweater, Navy, Medium ~
This cotton sweater has a crochet front and contrasting collar. It’s very soft but ran just a little snug in the arms for me. I wouldn’t size up though as I like how it fits everywhere else in the Medium. This would be really pretty with white bottoms (pant/skirt). It also comes in Ivory, which would also look nice with a pastel/Spring-colored bottom.

~ Nadia Top, Navy/Salsa, size 6 ~
I’m a sucker for peasant shirts but am also very picky about them too. I do not like elastic at the hem of the arms. They are always too tight and I end up not wearing the shirt because of it. This one was loose enough that I didn’t notice the elastic. The print/pattern is the same as the Olympia Tee I reviewed on Monday. The size 6 actually fit pretty well on me so I wouldn’t size to my normal 8. I think because it’s supposed to be loose and flowy.
I really wished the Tory Tunic has worked out for me. It really is very pretty in that print. There’s a really pretty embroidered Tory Tunic I just love as well! I guess I’ll have to stick to the Tees and Lidia Polos.
Have a Great Day!
