I really liked these pants but struggled to create an outfit with them. Then, inspired by an Instagram from Gigi, I had to try harder to find something to wear with these pants. I found that the light blue stripes on the Zora Tee worked with the Chambray.

I really need to hem these pants, and several more, but these pants were so comfortable to wear all day. I’m glad I was finally able to find something to wear with them. And, I will be recreating the outfit Gigi wore when our weather is cooler.

Some days there are just outfits that I absolutely love and would wear every day if I could. This tonal gray outfit is one of those items. I felt super chic and comfortable in this casual jeans, tee, blazer combo. So very very simple and yet one of my favorites.
I started with this tee from Old Navy in a super soft cotton and added my gray jeans and Old Navy booties in a Wine color.
I topped it off with a black blazer, did my hair and minimal make-up and felt amazing all day.

A review of the booties are coming up next Shoes-day but I will say that I LOVE them! I received quite a few complements the day I wore these.

The temps have been dropping slightly but not enough to add a cardigan or light jacket. Hopefully in a few more weeks I’ll be able to add a cardigan to this outfit, like the Merino Wool V-Neck Cardigan, in Navy.

I love this little skirt. I’d love to get it in Navy but I already have two Navy skirts so I shouldn’t add a third. I was very pleased with the BR flats. They held up well walking around the mall for a few hours.

I’ll have some J Crew New Arrivals reviews starting tomorrow.

I was in my office for a couple of days this past week and didn’t feel like getting too dressed up. I knew I wanted to be casual but put together without wearing a dress or skirt so I decided on jeans for both days.

I love the Draped Plaid Top though, as I mentioned in the review, there is a little snap button on the inside in the back holding the drape together. Well, if you stretch or move your arms too far away from your body that snap will un-snap. It happened several times throughout the day. Though, the drape does not open enough to expose skin or bra I felt a little uncomfortable knowing my shirt was unbuttoned, at least until the 4th or 5th time it un-snapped. Then I was over it and left it alone. I still love the blouse but should have road-tested it at home before wearing it to work.

The belt is from J Crew and is Navy! You don’t know you need a navy colored belt until you see it. Originally I thought it was black, until I looked at the tag. I knew I’d wear it a lot so I bought it at FP. And these Pilcro Stet Slim Ankle jeans are amazing. The wash for Fall is Stardust and I will definitely be getting a pair.

I wasn’t able to get a full shot of my next outfit by this is the Stylebook Look. The Linen Perfect Shirt is from last year, in Brilliant Blue. I thought the Cleo Loafers were perfect to finish this casual look.

I’ve paused my Capsule Remixes for a few weeks as I try to sort out my closet and decide what else needs to go. Add on getting The Boy set for College and I’m a mess. I’ve been very casual with my outfits but still nice enough to run errands to grab dinner with Husband.

I cannot love this Zara Linen Top enough. I could wear it every day. I wish they had come in more colors like Black and Navy. These Loft Gingham Pants are so comfortable on. I still can’t believe they are a 6 Petite and fit!

I ventured outside to take pics for a change of scenery. I love our big Oaks in the front.

And of course, the deer waiting on my neighbor to feed them. The babies are getting so big. Soon their little white spots will be gone.

Husband bought me this Elephant Top on his vacation. I had to do a little altering on it as the part of the top had been stitched with the side seam. He was very happy to see I was wearing his gift.
