Here are a few outfits from the week. First is a great wrap dress from the GAP, the Dotted Wrap Dress. I ordered this without trying it on but based on the reviews and Rose’s post, from One More Shopping Blog, I sized down one to a Small. I’m glad I did. This fits great and is very comfortable. I added a lace cami from Banana Republic and my Lanvin Espadrilles, as I had a board meeting that evening.

Next is what I wore Wednesday. This is the Draped Snail Tank by from Anthropologie. I love the little snail print all over. As you can see this is a pretty wide blouse. I’m wearing a size 6. It will certainly look better layered under a cardigan to tone done the a-line shape of the blouse. The jeans are from 2006(!) and are from Express. The shoes are the J Crew Joley flats.
I did tuck in the shirt to give myself a better shape and you can see that it made a difference. I forgot to add a belt but would have added a yellow one for just another small touch of color.
I was so happy to find the Oroya Dress, by Eva Franco from ,Anthropologie on ebay in my size. I had bought it before, on sale no less, and returned it for some ridiculous reason. I’ve been pining for it ever since. I added some new Target Mossimo Espadrille Wedges and a cami I’ve had for years from The Limited. The yellow cami paired nicely with the colors in the dress. I met a friend Thursday evening for “Margaritas and Manis” at the Westin La Cantera Hotel. We had a great time enjoying a yummy delicious margarita and a mini-manicure.
The wedges are Mossimo Pollie Strappy Espadrille. I took a size 7 and they were quite comfortable. I normally stay away from ankle strapped shoes but these don’t contrast too badly with my skintone to cut me off at the ankle.
Have a Great Day!

I headed over to Target and found lots of new shoes and sandals including the Dolce Vita for Target line.

First up – Dolce Vita for Target – I missed out on the Cynthia Vincent sandals so I was excited to see the offerings for the Dolce Vita line. There were only a few sandals at the one Target I went to but online there are boots, flats, oxfords and other sandals. Nothing is more than $29.99. I went with a 6 1/2 in all the DV shoes. The 7 was too loose in length and width.

(Please excuse the awful pedicure. I get lazy in the winter since I’m always wearing boots and flats not sandals.)

Sliver Wedge Sandal in Black – Size 6 1/2 – This is faux leather and has a back zipper and comes in pewter and gold.

Rope Wedge Sandals – Size 6 1/2 – $29.99
These also come in nude, dark brown and cognac, which I wanted badly but they did not have my size. There is a double-buckle at the ankle but also a back zipper.

Cork Wedge Sandal – $29.99 – Faux leather and also comes in gold, white, pewter and brown.

Mossimo Pilar Stappy Wedge in Brown – $29.99 – This has a covered wedge heel and a back zipper. Just a teensy bit loose in the 6 1/2 but the 6 was too tight. Also comes in nude, black and pink!

Mossimo Supply Co Wauna Braided Flat Sandals in Brown – $14.99
I looked for some cute somewhat casual sandals all summer last year but could never find anything I liked. I’m happy I found these, and at that price! They also come in a very pretty blue and a tan, almost yellow color.

Mossimo Pearce Pumps in Dove Patent – $29.99 – This is a great neutral gray/pearl colored shoe and also comes in Camel Patent.

As you can see, I happily “bought the shoes”! Have a great day!

I apologize if you saw this on Sunday. Even though I set up a scheduled post Blogger thought it would be funny to post it early.

I’m trying really hard to shop my closet as best I can. I haven’t worn the Potpourri Mini since Spring and warm weather arrived and the Tiered Silk Cami in Papaya has been sitting in my closet waiting patiently for the tags to come off. I don’t have any thing other than work (from home) today but this isn’t too much for just around the house.

When this top first showed up in stores I didn’t like the fit. The tiers looked to add extra weight but I did try on the 8 only. I didn’t jump on the bandwagon until two months ago when I saw how great yogagirl looked in one of hers. So then I stalked pop-backs and ebay not really knowing my size. Turns out the 8 is too big, the 6 is loose but fits but I can also wear the size 4 and 2. How’s that for vanity sizing? I was able to get the Papaya, Light Berry, Antique Stone and the Toffee in those random sizes. I’d love the Deep Violet/Purple yogagirl is wearing but I am satisfied with the ones I have. And the yellow is so bright and pretty too!

Blouse: J Crew Silk Tiered Cami
Skirt: J Crew Potpourri Mini
Shoes: Target Merona Essie Espadrilles (just like the J Crew Caribe)
A pretty good match.
Here’s the J Crew Trevi Shell that I changed into for the NJHS Induction Ceremony. I didn’t wear the little belt it comes with.

It’s taking all my will power to NOT go to Anthropologie to see their sale items. And J Crew should have more new arrivals in-store this week. ACK! Hopefully, the new outdoor furniture we are getting this week should be enough to satisfy my shopping cravings.

Enjoy your day!
