The, now sold out, Merino Pocket Tunic is one of my favorites from the Fall arrivals at J Crew. I was able to grab it in both the Garnet and Navy, both perfect for Fall and Winter. The Midrise Toothpick’s are one of my new favorites as well. I have the Jeans in Carbon and the Cords in Sea Salt, which is a beautiful Winter White color.

I loved this outfit, both items and color combination, I wore a version of it twice in a week. I first wore some Corso Como boots in a light brown leather. The I switched it up and wore my Frye Carson Leather Wedge Booties.

I do need to get the jeans and cords hemmed as they are several inches too long but would love to grab the cords in the Dark Forest.
I can’t wait to wear this Tunic again. And I’ll definitely pair the Garnet Tunic with these cords.
Have a Restful Sunday!

Thursday evening was a Birthday Happy Hour for one of our best friends. I haven’t really been feeling up to dressing in anything but jeans this past week but I was determined to dress up some for this. Since it was just slightly cool (not 90s) I decided on the Pixie Pants in Leather Tuxedo Stripe. During the final days of the Instyle25 promo I ordered the Drapey Crepe Henley Tunic in Ivory in an 8 Petite. This size is the best fit for me as the sleeves weren’t too long and the fit was perfect through the shoulders and arms but just a little closer to the body, as compared to the regular size 8. It seems others agree with me as the 8 Petite is sold out in all colors but Cerise and Black.

I added the Darby Calf Hair Loafers in Leopard, the Mini Compilation Necklace that Gigi reviewed here and my Kate Spade Goreski Glasses Ring that I purchased during September’s 20% off sale. You can now get it for 30% off with FALL13FF.

I was very comfortable in this outfit and it took very little effort. The shoes are lined in leather and oh-so-comfy and the shirt covers all of my booty which is an A+ in my book.
My Talbot’s order came in so be expecting that review over the weekend.

I saw these loafers during a Fall Preview image on Pinterest and knew I would get these in honor of my sweet Bella. It’s suede upper with a calf-hair Dachshund. And absolutely adorable.

And I wore them last Saturday to the TEDx San Antonio with my Fluted Skirt in Ivory and Madewell Denim Shirt.

There’s also a Sweater. It took all of my will-power to resist it. The Frenchie Dog is out of stock but there are still some Scottie Dog sweaters.

Have you seen C. Wonder’s offerings lately?

To help me with defining my style and continuous closet purging I am starting a new feature of showing how to wear one item 3 ways. I know a lot of you try to also use this idea when making/keeping purchases. These will be items I currently have or have recently purchased and am on the fence about keeping. I will show everything “IRL” so you can see the true items and colors together.

The first piece was part of an outfit I wore last week at home and then to dinner at a Pizza Garden that evening. I find that my outfits consist of three things: a top, bottom and shoes. Very basic and simple because the need for jewelry or other layers doesn’t fit my work-from-home life. I paired the Natasha Blouse in Gardenshade Floral with hemmed Matchsticks and Cece Ballet Flats in Black (but probably should have done the Navy instead). This is a blouse I was sad I missed out on last Spring but happily found it on ebay a few weeks ago.

As the weather cools, I can add a cardigan for inside the house and to run errands. This is the Jackie in Landscape Green and is a great match to the Natasha Blouse.

I added the Navy Schoolboy for a more polished look, still keeping my three basics, and the Jackie Cardigan.

For work, I kept the Jackie and changed to the Sterling Skirt in Crimson Maple, that I was able to purchase from a fellow JCA, and my Louboutin’s in Cranberry. A black heel will work as well. A Nude could work but I think a darker heel is best for this outfit. This green and burgundy pairing is beautiful, don’t you think? Buttoning the Jackie at the bottom helps you look more polished and leaner.

And, finally, to edge it up a bit I removed the cardigan and added my new Leather Moto Jacket in Cabernet. It’s amazingly gorgeous IRL and from Victoria’s Secret. I’ve been looking for a leather jacket for a very long time but could never find one I loved. Dark jeans like the Midrise Toothpick Jean in Carbon replace the Sterling Skirt and, again, the Louboutin’s in Cranberry finish this look. I only have gray Moto boots but short Black ones will do as well. I didn’t want to the look to be too edgy and I think the Moto Jacket in a different color suits the style without trying too hard.
So there you have it. The Natasha Blouse styled three ways (ok, maybe that was four). It’s a keeper.
I hope you enjoyed this feature. If you have any suggestions or want to see an item styled 3 ways please leave a comment or email me. If I have the item or something similar I will be happy to feature it.
Have a Great Sunday!

I love my Reva Tunic in “orange” from Anthropologie. I have worn it at least once a week since I purchased it back in June.

So I am very happy to see a “green” colorway for Fall. I took a Medium over the Small from Summer so that I could easily layer it with long-sleeve tees, cardigans and leggings. But since it’s a sleeveless tunic dress, I am able to wear it during our warmer days until that happens. I added my Birkenstock’s and let my hair air-dry which left these wavy layers. This tunic is amazingly comfortable and so easy to just throw on and go.

The olive and orange are perfect pairings for Fall.

Have you tried the Reva Tunic? What else are you liking at Anthro these days?
