I have been waiting for June all year but I’m still surprised by how quickly the month came. It is my birthday month, after all, and I have a busy schedule of not much going on. Sometimes you just need that calm for a little while. The weather has been gorgeous. I’ve been outside as much as possible since we were cooped up inside for a while with all the rain and storms. That’s where I’ve been instead of writing up these Anthropologie fitting-room reviews for you. So let’s get back to it, shall we?

Tops are up next. For reference, I wear a Medium/size 8 in tops (34C cup, waist unknown).

~ Porridge Layered Swing Tank, Green, Small ~
The multi-print of this swing tank is a great way to do pattern-mixing if you feel you can never do it right. The Green and Yellow motifs were my favorite colors, though apparently everyone else’s too. The Yellow was all but sold out but I did manage to find a Small in the Green. I do need a Medium in this top as it was snug across the chest.

This flows nicely, probably due to the Poly under-layer and Rayon Knit top.

A racer-back or strapless bra will be needed. I’m holding open the top layer so you can see a better view of the lining. This is just a super-cute top and perfect for Summer.

~ HD in Paris Shadow Pane Tank, White, size 8~
I have a similar tank by HD in Paris from last year. I like that this one isn’t tiered like the Swingpane Tank as it lays a little closer to the body. The size 8 was a good fit for me. I don’t think I would go down to a 6 since I think it will pull across the chest for me.  You can leave the front ties un-tied to wear it more open, like the catalog image. I think tied a little looser than I have it will be the best look.

Looking at these pics now, I’m wondering why I didn’t buy it. I really like it.

~ Tiny Cornflower Tiered Top, Blue, Small ~
I bought this in a different print several years ago. I love the jersey tank and the flowy printed sheer top over it. I received so many compliments on it when I did wear it. Eventually, I shrunk the top layer enough that the hem was below my chest and not at the low waist. The Small fit well since the tank stretches.

I don’t really care for this print though. I think it’s the brown on the hem of the overlay. If it had been a different print I probably would have gotten it. My other one was so easy to wear and very comfortable.

~ Porridge Printset Tee, Orange, Medium ~
The Medium fit good in this top but I think I can size to a Small. It also comes in blue, with a solid front and printed floral back.

What do you think of these tops? Should I go back and get the Shadow Pane Tank or wait for it to make it to sale?
