My closest Factory Store recently started receiving Crewcuts items. When I was in there last, I checked out their items. For the girls they had lots of cute little tees and bubble skirts in all colors. For the boys they had cute little tees and shorts in all colors. I have only bought Crewcuts once, even though I have 3 nephews and a niece. I do love all their cute little embellished tees and wish they would make grown-up styles like them (not all, just a few of the collectibles like this one).

My niece’s birthday was Valentine’s Day and I completely forgot! I’m such an awful Tia. I thought a few little tees would make up for that.

Girls Doodle Doggie Tee – $32.50 (promo 30% off CC tees) – They had this in both pink (DDC) and white. This price is the same as the online version!

Max and Molly Tee – $24.50 (plus add’l promo)

And how cute is this little Pink Poodle Necklace! So cute that I bought one for me.

Ribbon-Tied Long Pearl Necklace – $22.50 (plus add’l promo) – My niece loves my faux pearls when I wear them so I think she’ll like a necklace of her own.

It seems that there is not too much of a price difference for the Crewcuts Factory Store items. Again, I only looked and purchased these few items. Everything in CC had an additional promo of 20% or more off.

The Lockwood Hobo comes in four colors…Masala Chai, Mineral Green, Black and Soft Sandalwood. According to J Crew, it is their “..signature (and most sought-after) bag for Spring. With a less-is-more, minimalist feel in buttery soft leather…”. 
OK…Minimalist…check…Buttery soft leather…check…Most sought-after…maybe not so much. At least not like the Bisbee in Summer Hyacinth (or any of the colors). 

I thought the Mineral Green color would be great for Spring. The Soft Sandalwood looks pretty but it seems like it would get dirty pretty easily and I would be so sad if it got even a smidge of dirt on it.

The bag arrived yesterday and I must tell you I was under-whelmed. I didn’t have that “feeling” I get when I love and want to keep a bag forever. Maybe I’m holding all new bags to a higher standard of “that feeling” due to the Bisbee.

The color is a light minty green, but not quite pastel. The leather is buttery soft. The handle is twisted and it has a main storage compartment which is only closed by the brass turn-lock closure. There is an additional zipper pocket the width and height of the bag. Of course, there is an interior zipper pocket and two additional pockets for cell phone/key storage.

There is no hard bottom so the bag was really slouchy/droopy when I removed all the inside paper.

(My outfit yesterday was just jeans and my Lucky Tie-Dye Embroidered Tunic I’ve had for a few years.)

So, what do you think? I am pretty sure I am going to return it. For full price I really should LOVE it.

Love that these were a pop-back. 
I have been wanting some “wear-out-of-the-house” cozy, Ugg-type boots. I think these will do.

I bought the white a few weeks ago in the B&M. It’s a little shear but a great layering tee with some detail.

They have been very versatile, with jeans and skirts.

I’m still here and still remixing. I have had a busy week but have been trying to stay loyal to the remix. I did make a change/swap. Someone turned on the A/C in South Texas so I wasn’t well prepared with any long-sleeved casual wear (i.e.-tees).

Day 7…So I traded out the J Crew Fox Tee for a J Crew Perfect Fit Tee in Navy. We had a front blow through and it was a bit chilly.

The Cashmere Cody Cardigan that is.

We are having a family date day to celebrate The Boy’s Straight AAAAA’s. He’s been begging to go to this Brazilian steakhouse so we’ll be doing that after an afternoon movie. I’ve decided I may not want to put myself in a “meat coma” like I did on our anniversary two years ago so I may stick with the awesome salad bar and sneak a little piece here and there from Husband. The smell of beef made me nauseous for days.

I am not a nail person. I get pedi’s all the time but I have always had a bad habit of biting my nails. After I saw this gorgeous purple color by Chanel (Paradoxal), I had to have it. And my nails are thanking me for it. They are growing and I am not biting them. I broke on on the other hand so as soon as it grows a little longer I’ll get a manicure. I can’t wait!
