The following two outfits were from last week, both involving white bottoms. I had dinner with some friends downtown on Saturday and changed from my Delfine Pencil Skirt into this. I knew I’d be walking city streets and my feet were tired from wearing heels all day so I wore the Lucie Printed Flats. The Daisy Lace Top {pin} is from Talbots, found in the sale section. It’s a lovely shade of yellow and fits well in the size 8. There is a small button in the back and a side zip that goes down, not up. There’s a similar style in red, white and blue colors. The sleeve looks a little thinner and longer. The pants are my Tory Burch Cropped Skinny Jean in White. This was perfect and comfortable for a evening out.

This was my outfit from last Friday. I love both of these items. I felt so cool, casual and comfortable that day. I’m so glad I gave the Gabo Eyelet Tee a try-on. It’s fast becoming a favorite in my closet, as are the Linen Cargo Pants. These run generously big as I’m wearing a size 4. I bought them in both colors, Pesto and White. The sandals are also J Crew, the Malta Mirror Metallic Sandals. I think this would look better with the Burnt Sienna though.

It’s so easy to get dressed when I love my clothes.
Have a Great Day!

My local Anthropologie sent out an invite a few weeks ago for a birthday party they would be holding for all June birthdays. Yay! Just in time for the Tag Sale! The event was so cool and a great way for Anthro card holders who had June birthdays to use their birthday discount. There were balloons, nibbles, sweets and Prosecco just for us.

I was able to find a size 6 in the Floral Vignette Dress, which has been on my wishlist since it came out. I didn’t have time to view the sale section online so I had no idea this went on sale until I found it in the store. I like the print and the size was perfect though I’m not sure about the shift style in this one. What do you think?

I loved the Mulberry Road Shift Dress by Moulinette Soeurs. I’m pretty sure I’m wearing an 8 and it was a perfect fit. Not only does it have pockets but a built-in necklace.

I grabbed a size 6 in Maeve’s Ayame Silk Dress but definitely need an 8 to accommodate my hips. You can see how it bunched up just by moving a tiny bit. It does have pockets which is a plus. There is a front zip cover by the black material all the way down so you can un-zip it a little for a different, more casual look.

I have on a Medium in the Laceflower Tank by Sunday in Brooklyn but could have probably sized to a Small. In the end, I just wish the lining was even or slightly shorter than the overlay.

Maeve always has clothes I like every season. The Carte Neoprene Skirt is absolutely adorable. This is the size 8 and it sat high above my waist and was a little uncomfortable.

I tucked in the lining of the Laceflower Tank and it looks so much better with the Carte Neoprene Skirt. This is also the size 10 skirt. It gave me more length and dropped to sit just below my waist. If you are interested in this skirt, definitely size up one. If this has been in Cotton or Silk or anything other than Neoprene I might have gotten it. The Neoprene does give it a lot more structure though.

I really liked the Neon flowers of the Gardenside Shorts. But having just bought the Tap Shorts in Neon Coral Jacquard there was no need for two pair. The neon is much brighter than it appears online. The size 8 fit great, though I could use a little longer inseam.

I’m not sure why I didn’t get the Archivist Tee. Seeing it now I really liked it. I have on a Medium and though it’s a little longer than it should probably be the fit was good through the arms and shoulders. I’ve wishlisted this one.

The Button Lace Midi Blouse is so detailed. Even the back has little pearl bead-like detail. It is a little sheer but a nude bra should fix that, unless you prefer a cami. instead.

The Gabo Eyelet Tee was my favorite of them all. I have on a Small and it’s a good fit. An XS would have brought the hemline up a little too much for me. The shirt reminds me of Cuba and the 70s. You’ll probably need a cami for this one since the eyelet is all-over and it is not lined.

The birthday party was a lot of fun and I’m glad I was able to make it. I didn’t find some things from my wishlist but I liked a lot of what I did try on.
