This is one of the better roll-outs where I really liked a lot. Of course, most of it is not practical for my lifestyle but it’s nice to add to my wishlist and see if I can grab it on sale.

The Corsica Calf Hair Espadrilles look fun! I don’t know if I can pull off that ankle strap though. It seems like the buckle would rub my ankle bone.

My favorite pair of jeans that I wore for years was a pair gaucho wide-legs from the Gap. I loved them so much and was so sad when I couldn’t fit into them any more. The Rayner Wide-Leg looks just like my beloved Gap pair. I hope they are in-store so I can give them a try.

I want just about everything in that Jungle Print but especially the Collection Silk Twill Shell in Jungle Print. I see wearing it with white bottoms – shorts, skirt, cropped pants, jeans – to make that color pop on top!

!function(doc,s,id){ var e, p; if(!doc.getElementById(id)) { e = doc.createElement(s); e.id = id; p = ‘//shopsensewidget.shopstyle.com/widget-script.js’; var cb = new Date().getTime(); p += ‘?cb=’ + cb; e.src = p; doc.body.appendChild(e); } if(typeof window.ss_shopsense === ‘object’){ if(doc.readyState === ‘complete’){ window.ss_shopsense.init(); } } }(document, ‘script’, ‘shopsensewidget-script’);
I want to wear the Cropped Silk Popover in Tropical Frond some where fun and tropical, like Miami. But I’m sure I’ll look utterly ridiculous in the cropped top. I’ll probably settle for the bikini top and bottom.

I absolutely LOVE the Punched-Out Eyelet Romper. I originally saw it on Net-a-Porter and there was only a size 8 left that I seriously considered ordering. Then it sold out. Now, it’s on the regular J Crew site. I have to say that it looks better on the Net-a-Porter model than the J Crew model. In the second image it’s like she’s purposely pulling down on the pockets to bring the waistband down to the hips. I have the shorts so I’m good on passing on this romper. I would probably rock some black Espadrille Wedges instead of flat sandals with this.

What made it to your wishlist from this roll-out?

The very first item I added to my shopping cart when new arrivals came out on Monday was the Collection Cropped Linen Wide-Leg Trousers, in Red Clay. But they are excluded from the 30% off promo. These are the one item I attached to quickly and can’t get out of my head. I’m trying to come up with outfits to justify it at full-price. I’m also looking around at other retailers to find something similar but priced a little lower than $248.

I’ll be back with my other picks from the May roll-out later today. What do you think of the Collection Cropped Linen Wide-Leg Trousers

Unless I really really love something I usually wait until Tory Burch holds one of their “buy-more-save-more” events to purchase what I want. Today starts their Spring Event, and you can get up to 30% off with SPRING.

My picks are a mix of new arrivals and some I’ve tried on that are now on sale. A good pair of white jeans should always be in your closet and I replaced my old pair last year with the Cropped Skinny Jean. The Dani Dress looks so crisp and clean but I don’t really have anywhere to wear it in my current life.
As you can see tops are the bulk of my picks this time. I like the big checks of the Poplin Relaxed Tunic but the arms may be cut a little skinny. I tried the Olympia Tee on back in January and chose the Lou Tee instead. I have worn that several times since I purchased it so it was the right choice at the time.
!function(doc,s,id){ var e, p; if(!doc.getElementById(id)) { e = doc.createElement(s); e.id = id; p = ‘//shopsensewidget.shopstyle.com/widget-script.js’; var cb = new Date().getTime(); p += ‘?cb=’ + cb; e.src = p; doc.body.appendChild(e); } if(typeof window.ss_shopsense === ‘object’){ if(doc.readyState === ‘complete’){ window.ss_shopsense.init(); } } }(document, ‘script’, ‘shopsensewidget-script’);

Of course, I love the Kerrington Tote and this new one in bright polka dots may need to be added to my closet. There’s also a Mini version with a zipper pouch in the center.
I plan on going to the store this evening to try some items on and then make a final decision. Do you have any favorites you are considering from Tory Burch during this sale?

I found a few Madewell pics on my camera from a few weeks ago.

~ Shirred Maxi Dress, Dark Plum, Medium ~
This was on my wishlist early but made me look huge once I tried it on. The size is wrong and I should have grabbed a Small. The belt was also missing. Belted would give it a better shape on me. The color isn’t right for Spring either. It’s a Fall/Winter color. I do like that the slip only goes to the knee and not to the floor. I find a longer slip/lining only sticks to me and make me hotter.

~ Eyelet-Hem Stitched Peasant Top, Dusty Burgundy, Small ~
This looked cute on the hanger and I’m a sucker for Peasant Tops but this one was not a good fit. I think the sleeves don’t work with the top, for me and the pleating at the neckline only seems to add bulk on the lower part of the shirt. Maybe an Extra Small would work but overall, I don’t see myself wearing this on a consistent basis.

~ Geo-Lace Eyelet Tank, White, Medium ~
Oh to be young and hip enough to pull off wearing this tank. But I’m not so it was just fun to try it on. The Medium did fit well and I’d add a cami under, of course. There’s always the Geo-Lace Eyelet Dress

I know there is a new roll-out and I hope to get to the store soon to see what they have.

Have a Great Day!

I found two dresses to try-on, one of which had been in my wishlist.

This looked cute on the hanger but a sack when I tried it on. I definitely need to size down to a Small as it is really big everywhere. The chambray felt soft against the skin and the length hit just at the knee. It’s currently on sale, with today being the last for 20% off sale items. It’s a cute dress, but overall not a fit for me.

This dress has been on my wishlist since it first came out. It’s also on sale and though it was an “I need this dress.” when I first saw it, I wasn’t so enamored with it when I tried it on. The fit is good but could use some adjusting in places. I don’t think an Extra Small would adjust some of the fit issues in the chest or width either. I like the ombre’ effect on it but I can’t see wearing this if I brought it home.

A few more dresses I’ve added to my wishlist.
!function(doc,s,id){ var e, p; if(!doc.getElementById(id)) { e = doc.createElement(s); e.id = id; p = ‘//shopsensewidget.shopstyle.com/widget-script.js’; var cb = new Date().getTime(); p += ‘?cb=’ + cb; e.src = p; doc.body.appendChild(e); } if(typeof window.ss_shopsense === ‘object’){ if(doc.readyState === ‘complete’){ window.ss_shopsense.init(); } } }(document, ‘script’, ‘shopsensewidget-script’);
What dresses have you tried lately at Anthropologie?
