Here’s what I wore today while working from home and making TWO trips (yes two) to J Crew. That 30% off sweaters plus the “red” card was too good to pass up!

Confession: I cheated with the pics which were taken a few weeks ago. But I did wear this same outfit again today.

Cami: Tucker for Target
Cardigan: J Crew Jackie in Pearl (LOVE this color. So versatile.)
Jeans: GAP Boyfriend Distressed
Shoes: Louboutin Flat Mary Janes

As you can see the outfit looked better with the cardi buttoned rather than open. (Sorry for the plain, non-smile face. I did have a good day.)
I hope to get back into the groove of the blog again. I do have some work outfits from last week I will be posting along with my “red” card haul.
Have a great evening!

I popped in to J Crew over the weekend and found a few things I liked.

New cardigan that’s not online
Style #32329, Color HMO-Heather Moss

Forgot a belt? Just adjust the double zipper pull.

And the new Oxford Shoe Tee
Style #31251

I’ll be travelling during the rest of the week so I’ll have some OOTDs to share this weekend.

Have a great week.

The thing about seeing people you haven’t seen in 20 years is that some people do not change. And there are others who have done a complete 180. I apparently was the latter. I was a shy, naive and didn’t voice my opinion very much. I’m the complete opposite now. (Guess I have to be if I have a blog, huh?) There were people who didn’t recognize me (it was the hair) until they saw my badge with my Senior picture on it. I had fun but people also acted exactly as I expected. So, like I said, some things never change. Especially in a small town.

I got Husband’s opinion on a few dresses and picked this LDB.

But then Husband didn’t get to the cleaners in time so he was going to wear jeans. I didn’t want to be too over-dressed so I switched to dark jeans and the J Crew Tiered Vintage Fleur Cami, GAP Essential Jeans and my red Louboutin’s.
Not the best smile but I had two “yahoos” doing bunny ears to each other. CRAZY!

I had fun.

Now, anyone know where my fairy god-mother is? Either her or those mice from Cinderella. I have guests this weekend and a wrecked house!

My 20-year high school reunion is starting now with a little tail-gating before the football game. I’m not there. I won’t go until the PAR-TAY tomorrow. And I’m stressing. Big time. I’m sure y’all can figure out why.

Closet full of clothes…

Nothing to wear!!!

I Polyvored these…

And I also bought this as an option.

AND…I have this too…

Ugh…

So here are some IRL pics from my last post of recent purchases.

J Crew Bici Tee – Size S – I usually take a Medium in the tees but have started to size down with different materials.

Sequined/Beaded spokes

Ann Taylor Tiered Shirt with Grosgrain Trim in Smokey Mauve Yarn, Size MP – A little fitted through the bust but I’ll be wearing a cardi or blazer with this.

J Crew Marled Pullover Hoodie – Size S – I love this hoodie! I can’t wait for the weather to get even remotely cool so I can wear it. It’s so comfy and soft. I missed out on the Marled sweater last year and still regret it. It’s a little tight in the arms for me (but most tops are in a Small) but the Medium was too big. I don’t plan on layering much under this hoodie so the Small is fine.

J Crew Plaid Boyfriend Cardigan – Size Small – There were no Mediums left so I grabbed a Small. Again the tight arms thing but I was not leaving the store without this sweater.

Anthropologie Alma Mater Blazer – Size 6 – Worn with Frances Cami. I love the texture, fit and contrast of this blazer. FREAKING CUTE!

J Crew Bi-Stretch Wool Minnie – Size 6 – I really like the Minnie pants and will be wearing this with a long cardi or sweater and boots.

Have a great evening!
