So here’s Day 2. Very super casual with a tee, jean and barefoot.

Tee: J Crew Imperial Tee
Jeans: GAP Destructed Boyfriend
Belt: Lucky Brand

The I had to run some errands and added the cardi and shoes.

Cardigan: J Crew Factory Primrose Cardigan (Factory cardi is cotton not merino)
Shoes: Steve Madden Trouser

Day 3 – Had an appointment today so I’m dressy casual. (Is that a style of dressing?)

Shirt: J Crew Factory L/S Stretch Perfect Shirt
Jeans: GAP Curvy
(I couldn’t find my Essential Jeans **dirty** so I swapped these in. I’ll keep these in the rotation and leave out the Essential. I just wanted a basic dark jean to wear with heels. This pair isn’t too good for flats like my Essential but they’ll do.)
Heels: Ann Taylor Perfect Pump
Necklace: J Crew

I just wanted to share how great the shirt is with the Gray color of the J Crew Sunnie Pencil Skirt.

Have a great evening!

So I’m going to start with little baby steps for this remix. After posting my 30 items last night I went to bed thinking “I need more shoes!” “I don’t have any dresses.” “I have too many jeans.” But I really thought about all those items and tried to mix in some newer items I have that I’ve either not worn or rarely worn.

So here’s my first outfit. Very simple and basic.

Boots: Steve Madden Inragee (similar here – Intyce)

I like the sequin detail on the shoulders. As you can see from my picks I am a fan of Olive Green.

To be honest I was in my fabulous, comfy Wicked Good slippers most of the day until The Boy called saying he missed the bus. Then I put on my boots. But I work from home so no one saw me.

I have to show you what it’s like getting my family together for a group photo. Right when the picture is taken someone else wants to join or we see someone else to join in. So basically, they are all outtakes. These are from a family wedding this past weekend.

Whoops…looking at different cameras.

Wait! The bride wants in.

CRAZY PEOPLE! All family.
What I’m wearing…
J Crew Frances Cami
J Crew Constellation Cardigan
J Crew Marvelle Mini (LOVE THIS SKIRT! I didn’t notice but under the taffeta is a layer of tulle and then a silk lining. When I sat down the taffeta came up but then the tulle layer showed.)
Merona Tights
Christian Louboutin Wallis Mary Janes
My Dancing Shoes were the Toe-Tapping Flats (Anthropologie).
Have a great evening!

hello

I’m participating in Kendi Everyday’s 30 for 30 Remix. Below are my 30 items.

All shirts are J Crew.

All cardigans are J Crew.
I start tomorrow.
Also, I worked out Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. I danced the night away on Saturday at a family wedding and that certainly counted as a workout. I’ll start back up tomorrow and try to go at least Monday thru Friday. I know Jillian says to do 20 minutes everyday but this past Wednesday I was really sore and “Mother Nature” came for a visit too so I was not feeling well. But I picked it back up first thing Thursday morning. I’m doing Level 1 and will continue with that this week. Next week I hope to move to Level 2. I haven’t weighed myself but I will tomorrow. I have been eating better – better food, smaller portions, more fruit and nuts for snacks, very little sugar and white flour products and no cokes. That was hard this week because I was craving chocolate covered pretzels. It’s usually what I want during that time along with a cold Coke.

I’ll be posting my outfits daily and hope I can stick with this. This remix also includes no shopping for 30 days so I’ve really got to stay busy. I will only limit my shopping to Christmas presents and Husband’s birthday presents. Nothing for me.

Have a great evening.

Kendi is holding another one of her fabulous “30 for 30 – A Closet Remix” challenge.

Kendi Everyday: Announcing…

Click on the link to find out all the details. The gist of it is pick 30 items – clothes and shoes, remix the items for 30 days, and NO SHOPPING for 30 days. Coats and accessories are not included in the 30.
If I can get my 30 I will be participating this time. It will be interesting because I have an office visit, Thanksgiving and husband’s birthday included in these 30 days.

Hope everyone has a day filled with treats and no tricks. Here’s what Husband and I dress up as for a little costume party.

He was “Blondie” from The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
My accessories.

This is actually the first time I’ve dressed up as Audrey Hepburn (or a character she played). Odd that I never thought of it before.

Oh…and one of the most original costumes I’ve seen.

Have a Happy and Safe Halloween!
