Hi everybody! It’s been a little while hasn’t it? Whew…real life tired me out these last two weeks. We finally had The Boy’s birthday party which Husband and I are finally recovered from. We had NINE!! 15 year-old boys over this past Saturday and Sunday. Counting The Boy made 10 teen-aged boys taking over every room, inside and out, of our house except our Master Suite. And since we weren’t officially crazy by Sunday, we took them to play paintball for 3 hours. I changed clothes into fresh loungewear daily and that was it.

I wasn’t really even in the mood today to get dressed. I had on another outfit but then the dogs started barking and the doorbell rang. I peek outside and it’s my Brown Sancho leaving me a package! Woo Hoo!

Here’s what he brought me.

J Crew Men’s Belt from last year. It doesn’t fit around the waist so I tied it.
As soon as I woke up the day after trying on this dress I knew I needed to have it. What was I thinking saying it wasn’t me!?! At that price I can certainly wear it until it hits 80 (which was two days ago by the way) or over 80 and windy. Of course, in two days the dress sold out at my store and the only size left was an XL. So even though it was back-ordered until May I did a little clickety-click and ordered it. Well, it shipped Monday and arrived today! Woo Hoo! I like it better with the sleeves rolled up, but maybe not this high (3 times rolled). What do you think?
These sandals are a great replacement for my Nine West Velas I bought last year in a 6 1/2. I really really wanted them in that specific color and suffer for it everytime I wear them. I love this Cognac color and I like that the Black sandal also has a dark heel and platform. If I get another color it would have to be the gray (even though I need a black sandal). I haven’t worn these for very long yet but I’ll update the post on the comfort factor later.
Have a great day!

Been by Anthro a few times and tried on a bunch of stuff. So here goes the “promised many times” Anthropologie Mega Post.

Dazzler Top – Corey Lynn Calter beautiful blue beaded blouse.

Odille Floral Wrap Blouse – Not sure of the actual name of this but for $9.95 and in my size (6) I couldn’t pass it up.

Bargello Tank, S, Orange Motif – Very comfortable and flowy. There are some gray panels that are very sheer so either some strategic tucking/belting or a tank under should be worn.

Garden Party Dress, 6 – Cute print but no shape.

Belted…a little better.

Pom Flower Shift – Size 8 – Love this and the fit was amazing…Pray it makes it to sale.

Martagon Sketch Halter Dress – Size 6 – Tight fit in the chest and waist. I’d size up to an 8 if I got it.

Magnified Corolla Dress – Size 6 – This was just odd on me. The side ruching and the uneven hem just threw me off.

Refined Rugby Dress – Size M – A shirtdress that was just meh…

Gull Wing Dress – Size 6 – I’m showing this even though “the girls” are prominent. If it wasn’t for the halter tie I would have gotten this. AMAZING!

Corey Lynn Calter Fluttering Obi Dress – Size 4 – At the time I tried this on the belt was sown to the dress. I had to take a seam ripper to it and carefully remove it to wear it like the picture. (see here)

Sing Sweetly Party Dress – Size 6 – I couldn’t get this zipped up the back. I would need an 8 but I stay away from strapless anyway. Cute print.

Glanz Dress – Size 8 – LOVE THIS DRESS!!! It’s a perfect fit!

Counting Angles Dress – Size S – A gorgeous linen dress that won’t look bad even when it get wrinkled. The fit was great.

Spring-Ready Dress – Size M – Very cute and also comes in green.

Emerald Wicklow Dress – Size M – So pretty and soft and comfy but too long for me.

Tuilieries Dress – Size 6 – The was a perfect fit at the chest. If I had a summer wedding shower this would be the dress to wear. Such a beautiful silk print.

Fountain of Youth – Size 6 – A beautiful fit and husband liked this one. The best part was a hook between the top two buttons so there was no gaping.

Fantastic Field Skirt – Size 8 – And the one thing I have been waiting to see and try on. It was o.k. once I tried it on. I didn’t love it like I did when I first saw it online. I’ll wait ’til a sale.

So there it is…finally. My Anthro try-ons. My wishlist is now full of other dresses, tops and skirts I need to search out and try-on.

Have a great evening.

…see these clutches.

J Crew Roulette Clutch – Parsley Sprig – The description says this reverses to Apple Green but I think the Parsley Sprig is the interior and the Apple Green the exterior. I think the pic online shows the Apple Green. (Don’t mind me…I’m just trying to use some logic since parsley is dark in color the interior is a darker green.)

The suede to patent effect is seamless. You can only tell by running your hand across the body of the purse.

 .
Inside…still the “ombre effect” with the suede and patent. You can also reverse the clutch and show this as the outside. (See…dark green = the color of parsley)

Without flash – Close to the true interior flap color.
Clutch Style

With the strap lengthened.

Mosaique Clutch – The pink is neon pink. The material is tweed. It’s the same concept as the Roulette Clutch.

Interior – You could reverse the clutch so the jewels are on the inside and this is the outside. Although I wouldn’t want to hide the jewels.

What do you think?

New arrivals online and in store…Here are some IRL pics.

Maritime Dress, Medium – I could have probably sized down to a Small. The length is actually perfect but I won’t get much use out of it South Texas. I do like it belted but it’s just not me. Maybe on sale…if it makes it there.

Gingham Scout Chino, 6 – The 8 was way to big and almost fell off me. Usually it fits in the hips and is a little loose in the waist (Lolli pant). I liked this on but then I saw this picture.

In-Store “Big Daddy Lou’s” Tee, Small – #38219, $29.50 –

Summerweight Chino Bermuda Short, 8, Organic Green – I have plenty of shorts in the classic colors (Navy, White, Khaki). I like this color and will wait until a sale.

Schooner Short, 8, Indigo – Cute…They were very soft and comfortable.

E’te’ short, 8, Nightfall Blue – I really liked these of the 3 shorts I tried on. And love the color.

In-Store “Vineyard” Pencil Skirt, 6 – #38061, $128 – Fits TTS

In-Store, Rialta Tweed Pencil Skirt, 6, #38793 – Lovely colors. I brought it home to see if I could pair it with someone other than a denim shirt or a tee. Fits TTS. Here’s the jacket.

In-Store Wagon T, M, #37790, $32

Liberty Vintage Floral Mini, 6 – Cute

Collette Dress, M – I could have sized down to a Small. Very “FlashDance”. I really don’t want to re-live the 80s.

I don’t know the name of this one and I moved the tag when taking the picture. Size 4, $138 – I think this was cotton with chiffon paneling on the shoulders and sides with a racer-back and drawstring waist.

Tulip Ruffle Cami, 6, Dragonfly Blue – Cute but I think I need to size up to an 8.

There were quite a few other items in the B&M but I didn’t have a whole lot of time. I was really looking for the Plaid Bermuda shorts from the catalog but they were not in yet.
