Last Saturday, I attended a family wedding. I specifically picked the Scalloped Dress to wear. I originally reviewed it here and loved it this time around as opposed to the Spring. I added my Etta Printed Cap Toe and my Pave’ Link Bracelet and Necklace.

This was the first time I wore my Etta’s and had not planned on standing for 2 hours straight. That put a little more strain on my feet than I had anticipated and they were off as soon as I got in the car. I was good in them, standing, walking around and sitting, for about 3 1/2 hours so I think they will handle an 8 hour work day since I don’t stand all day.
I love my new little LBD but I do have to be careful not to bend over. It’s a bit short, or so Husband tells me. Yikes!

Looks great! Why did you like it better this time around? I wrote it off last spring too but hadn't thought to try it again. I wonder if they changed something about it.
Thanks Cate! I don't know if I was in a different mind-set in the Spring or if the fit was changed slightly for this version.
I just love a LBD, and this one is so pretty on you, yeah the bending over is the big test! Very rarely does a dress pass the test for me at nearly 5'7", not amazon height but still dresses these days are a bit short…
I found an older JCrew black sleeveless dress on ebay in the spring, I have to have it tailored but it seems a good one, and I have some older LBD's, always a favourite of my hubs, the only time he notices what I wear is when I'm wearing a black dress.

WellFedFred – Thanks! Not a pointless quest but definitely challenging. I've found Kate Spade Black is not like J Crew Black. Everyone is always a slightly different shade.
I really like this dress. It looks great on you. I just tried it on today and I have say that they must have improved the cut of this dress from last season. It is very flattering. Last season it was very boxy. I love how thick and luxe the fabric is. I ended up passing on the dress because it's too short to wear to work and I don't have any events coming up, but I was sooo tempted:)
