Here’s are two recent Que Bella’s for you with the Pleated Short in Stripe and Cotton.

It was just a regular work-from-home day. This was effortless to put
together but I still felt dressed and ready to run errands if needed. Everything is J Crew: Short-Sleeve Chambray Shirt (8), Pleated Short in Nautical Stripe (8) and Cece Leather Ballet Flats in Burnt Sienna (7). I have the Cece Ballet Flats in several colors in the leather and suede and have done a Shoesday
review on them before. I was able to get the Navy and the Burnt Sienna
during the last 30% off. You can see it is a very neutral shoe for me,
blending with my skin tone fairly well.

The shirt is my normal top size for button-downs. I have another Short-Sleeve Chambray Shirt from a few seasons ago but this one is a little darker and has the Peter Pan/rounded collar. I am having a little issue with the button right at the chest popping open. Anyone have a way to fix that? It’s almost like the button-hole is a little to big for the button to stay put. As you can see the shirt is not pulling across the chest so it’s not a sizing issue.

Next, is the Pleated Short in Structured Cotton in White. While the other colors are not lined, the white one is, which makes is a nicer dressy short. I added one of my new Factory Pique Polo Shirts, in mint and my Louboutin Puglia Snake-Embossed Espadrille. I wore this on my Anniversary as I wanted to feel a little more dressy that day while working from home.

I love how pairing the Structured shorts with heels not only makes the outfit a little more dressy but elongates my legs. Love the look of being taller.

And now the shorts are offered in Seersucker. Not sure if I’ll be able to pass those up either.

Anything here work for you? And how do I fix that button?

During the last 25%/30% off everything at J Crew I picked up the Seville Wedge Espadrilles in Navy. Last year, they were offered in whole sizes only so the 7 was a half size too big and the 6 was way too tight. This year, half sizes were introduced and the 6 1/2 was the perfect fit. I wish there were half sizes last year as I really wanted the Navy/White stripe in Satin. This year they come in Flax, Venetian Green, and Neon Rose in solids and Black/Ivory Stripe. I don’t know if I really love this Navy as it’s a little too light but I have worn them a few times so I think my eyes just don’t care for them. Also, 7 is my normal J Crew shoe size so I would say go half a size down.

The Chambray showed up online two weeks ago and I ordered them as that color will go with a lot in my closet. I am hoping to get a PA this week.

These are fairly comfortable and I’ll certainly wear them a lot this year. I’ve seen the Venetian Green in stores and the color is gorgeous.
What do you think of the Seville Wedge Espadrilles? Are they on your list?

Husband and I took a trip to the Outlet Mall on Sunday to do a little shopping at Pottery Barn. It’s his favorite store. We were there for almost 3 hours and came home with lots of goodies and deals. He had two more stores to go to and so I left him and went to the J Crew Factory Store where new arrivals were waiting. I was in a rush but grabbed two dresses that caught my eye.

First was the Garden Floral print in what looks like the Lucille Dress style. I have on a size 6, #45492, Bright Orange, $118 plus 30% off dresses. This size was a good fit, if almost exact in the top. An 8 would have been looser in the top but I’m not sure I would have bought that size. This is Cotton and lined in Poly, I think. This will be great for showers and weddings this summer.

Next is the Mirabel print in Navy and also White. They are both beautiful dresses and were selling quickly. I have on the Navy in a size 6 and the White in an 8, #77503, $118 plus 30% off dresses. Again, the 6 fit great and the Navy is gorgeous with the cream embroidery. The straps are adjustable and I’d wear a strapless bra with this.

Here’s the odd thing…I tried on the 8 in the White with pink embroidery and it fit just like the Navy 6. There wasn’t an 8 in the Navy and I had the only 8 in the White. Maybe it was just a touch looser in the top where the straps are but through the body it fit the same. Also, YAY! for pockets.

I was pressed for time so I didn’t have a chance to grab anything else to take and try on. I hope to stop again this week if I have the time. Otherwise, I expect these new arrivals will be online no later than next week but probably this week, same as the Retail new arrivals.
Have a Great Day!
P.S. – I’m on Instagram now (audreybellatx) and also, follow me on Bloglovin’ (link is on the right).

Everyone remembers Jenna in these pants right?

They are expected in the next roll-out or two and are in the May Style Guide as well. For those of us (everyone really) who won’t be able to afford them here is a more reasonable option for that print in a scarf.

The Printed Linen Scarf in Emerald Pool is beautiful, lightweight and a vibrant Emerald Green.

Even the pinks and yellows on the scarf pop out at you. The material is a viscose, linen blend so less wrinkles but does that even matter with a scarf? As you can see, the scarf is very sheer so it’s perfect for those light breezy days or offices with a chilly A/C.

What do you think of this scarf print? Honestly, I wish J Crew would make a scarf in every beautiful print they have, especially if the print is used in a Collection piece at $300+. Yes, I’m sure the Factory Store will eventually have one but sometimes it’s not the actual item for me as much as it is the print.
Have a Great Day!

Recently Gilt City had a free coupon code for 25% of J Crew Factory. All you had to do was claim it. As soon as my code came through I used it. No waiting for me. I ordered several Polos that were on promo for both myself ($14 each in Mint and Navy) and The Boy ($12 each…can’t be that!), along with a men’s Lobster Tee, Lobster scarf (orange one), Cardigan and the Seersucker Ruffle V-Neck Dress.

I ordered a size 6, confident about that due to my last try-on of the Blakeley Factory Dress in Vintage Zebra Stripe. It’s a perfect fit all over. Currently the V-Neck is held together by some thread but I expect that to break any time. I will be replacing that with a little snap button.

It also comes in a Neon Persimmon, which reads pink to me online. The dress is Cotton with a Cotton lining. Perfect for summer. I expect it to be scorching this year.

Who doesn’t love a little seersucker to prep it up a bit? I have pants, shorts and a vest all in seersucker and love all of them. I think this will be great for my upcoming trip too, with a little cardigan and Cece flats. I have on the Seville Espadrilles in Navy in these pics. Look for a “Shoesday” post soon on those!
Right now, the dress is $59.50 online. I also just received an email stating most Factory items in store were up to 50% off. My guess is this dress is at least 30% off in a store but off the full price of $98. It doesn’t hurt to call and see.
I expect there will be New Arrivals at the Factory soon. Everything is looking a little repetitive. Especially since they are currently having a “Clear the Clearance Event with 30% off Final Sale” (use code GETMORE).
Have a Great Evening!
