Que Bella – Cecilia, Maxi-ne, and Frances

Here are some quick outfit posts from this week. We have been having great 85 degree weather here in SATX. Wonderful weather for Fiesta.

J Crew Cecilia Dress – Monday work-from-home…I also had an HOA board meeting to attend.

Worn with J Crew Snakeskin Studded Reese Sandals

Forever 21 One Shoulder Maxi Dress – Super casual work-from-home-day

I wore one of my J Crew Frances Cami’s on Wednesday for another office visit/training. This color is so rich and beautiful. My stylist was able to squeeze me in first thing to get my haircut. I was trying to hold out to 12 weeks but my hair was getting pretty thick and un-manageable so I caved and called for the next available appointment. I feel so much better now.

J Crew Frances Cami in Morrocan Blue
J Crew Jackie in Pearl
GAP Curvy Jean
Christian Louboutin Simple 85 Pumps in Teal

And here’s what I wore Thursday.
J Crew Factory Bootcut Capri Jeans

The Boy is off from school today due to the Battle of Flowers Parade. Can you believe it? All the school districts in this city are closed today for a parade! The main reason is because so many student groups are participating in the parade that it made more sense to give all the kids the day off as opposed to skewing their attendance records. Anyway, he’s invited 5 of his friends over to work on a video project and “test” out the pool for the season.

Have a wonderful day! Oh…and go check out Pam’s post on the Fiesta Royal Court dresses. They are so beautiful.

Hi Audreybella, I never commented but I read often. I love the Cecilia on you, it suits your coloring perfectly, very pretty. But the blue shoes!!!! I was drooling over them just yesterday on NM site. How do they fit and how are they in terms of comfort?

Thanks Pam! Enjoy your day off today! I hope this weather holds up for a little while longer before we get really hot.

AJC – Thanks! I am loving the orange hues that are out right now.

I am a huge fan of Christian Louboutin. I wear a size 7 in most shoes now and I am a solid 37 in his heels. They are all hand-made so each fit is slightly different.

I have a pair of Simple 70 (navy) and they are "just right". These, the Simple 85, is a touch big and I need to add a heel pad so I don't slip out of it. As far as heel height goes with his shoes I stay below the 90 mm (approx 3 inches). Anything higher, as beautiful as those are, and I lose my sense of balance. Also, staying 3 inches and below allows me to wear them all day without any discomfort. I love the Simple pumps because they are just a wonderful classic.

    Hope that helps!

You look great in the dresses! I am not usually a fan of the one shoulder, but it looks very nice on you! The Cecelia looks beautiful, it is your color!

A – Thanks! It's been a struggle but I think I'm over the hard part of growing it out.

Kathy – Thank you. I hadn't really been a fan of one shoulder anything until lately. Not sure why. I really do love this bold orange color.

Gigi – Those Loubout's deserve more ZZZZZ's! It's my new favorite shoe (at least until my next shoe purchase).
