Here are some quick outfit posts from this week. We have been having great 85 degree weather here in SATX. Wonderful weather for Fiesta.

J Crew Cecilia Dress – Monday work-from-home…I also had an HOA board meeting to attend.

Worn with J Crew Snakeskin Studded Reese Sandals

Forever 21 One Shoulder Maxi Dress – Super casual work-from-home-day

I wore one of my J Crew Frances Cami’s on Wednesday for another office visit/training. This color is so rich and beautiful. My stylist was able to squeeze me in first thing to get my haircut. I was trying to hold out to 12 weeks but my hair was getting pretty thick and un-manageable so I caved and called for the next available appointment. I feel so much better now.

And here’s what I wore Thursday.
J Crew Factory Bootcut Capri Jeans

The Boy is off from school today due to the Battle of Flowers Parade. Can you believe it? All the school districts in this city are closed today for a parade! The main reason is because so many student groups are participating in the parade that it made more sense to give all the kids the day off as opposed to skewing their attendance records. Anyway, he’s invited 5 of his friends over to work on a video project and “test” out the pool for the season.

Have a wonderful day! Oh…and go check out Pam’s post on the Fiesta Royal Court dresses. They are so beautiful.

Today is the last day for J Crew’s 20% off with code SUNNY. There is not a discount on shipping with this
unfortunately. If you are looking for a heeled sandal, the Arène Platform Sandals are a wonderful choice, IMO. I already have these in Cognac and love them and I was able to find them in Anchor Grey.

They are on sale for $149.99 (final sale). I love the wood heel and they are comfortable. I wore these for over 4 hours, mostly walking and had no pain or blisters. I am a consistent size 7 in J Crew.
Hope that helps and Happy Shopping!

I was in training for most of the week but there was time to visit the J Crew Factory Store. I was a bit underwhelmed walking in but grabbed a few things to try on for the blog.

JCF Carson Short – 6, Bright Plum
See the retail version on me here (slate) and here (plum). This was a good fit in the 6 and I love the brightness of the plum but I already have the retail version. All colors were in-store. I don’t recall if there was a % off.

JCF Printed Perfect Shirt – M, Light Berry – This was a little wide on me. The arms were too long as well.

JCF Coralie Cami – 6, Mink, #38798, $64.50 plus 40% off – This was a good fit. I never tried on the retail version and, unfortunately don’t recall what the other colors were. I think there might have just been the Papaya color.

JCF Cropped Matchstick Jeans – Sz 30

JCF Tweed Unagi Pencil Skirt – 6, SPA, $89.50 plus 30% off – I know this was previously online but it must have sold out. I am not a fan of the Factory version of this skirt. The fit was fine but the material is thin and seemed a bit cheap to me.

JCF Printed Sylvie Skirt – 8 – I have the retail version of this skirt and I have to say I like the Factory version better. The color is a lot brighter and more saturated.

Factory on the left (8)…Retail on the right (6)

I think I’ll be keeping the Factory version so if someone is looking for the retail version in a 6, email me with an offer.

I also stopped by the Ann Taylor Factory Store since it was right next door to J Crew. I haven’t been in there in a long time but this skirt in the window caught my eye. It looked like lace until I saw it up close. It’s crochet and gorgeous. There’s also a dress that is just stunning. I regret not trying it on. I brought home the 8 Petite.

AND! I found the Peep-Toe Perfect Pumps in Porcini. I love this color and even though these fit just a teeny bit big (size 7), I brought them home with me anyway.

It looks like we have started our transition to warmer weather here in South Texas. It should be shorts and flip-flops all weekend long so I’m sending warm weather thoughts to you Northern readers out there!

Have a great day!

I’m exhausted but here are a couple of outfits I wore while in training this week. I also stopped by the J Crew Factory Store so I’ll have a few pics up later.

J Crew Saturday Sweater, S – Marled Bluegrass
Gap Essential Jeans, 6
J Crew Penelope Peep-Toe – Gray, Blue, Yellow

I was lucky enough to snag this dress off ebay and absolutely love it! I wore a little navy cami underneath and was originally going to wear my navy heels but the TOMS felt right with the dress.

Have a great evening!

I just wanted to show you my outfit from Monday when I had to go into the office.

All J Crew
Jackie in Pearl (2010)
Factory 4-strand Pearls
Christian Louboutin Simple 70 Pumps in Navy

A true navy shoe…I’m in love.
I removed the belt from the cami since I was wearing a cardigan over it. I should have belted over both of them but I didn’t have a skinny navy belt and I didn’t want to do a skinny brown leather so I left it alone.

Also, here’s an IRL shot of my new Gold TOMS wedges.

You’ll see them soon in an Que Bella post.

Have a great day!
