So I really bit hard on the latest ‘MUSTSHOP’ promo at J Crew – take 40% off sale and Final Sale items and Free Shipping on $100 or more.

Cashmere Gloves$48 $29.99 $17.99
I bought these in every color available for Christmas gifts next year.

Convertible Jeweled Gloves$198 $99.99 $59.99
I’ve been eyeing these for a while.
Not being able to find my Coach gloves this week was a good reason to buy new gloves.

Pearl Cobblestone Bracelet$78 $69.99 $41.99
I really wanted the Olive Moss but this is such a unique dress the Dark Charcoal is just fine. Once I saw it pop back I was not about to let it get away from me again.
See it on One Fashionista Diva – doesn’t she look gorgeous?

Short Chalet Shearling Boots in Desert Brown – $198 $150 $89.99
Love that these were a pop-back.
I have been wanting some “wear-out-of-the-house” cozy, Ugg-type boots. I think these will do.

Lindy Leather Platform Peep-Toes$265 $149.99 $89.99
I plan on wearing these with several of last year’s pencil skirts (Pastiche, Contrast Pencil Skirt, Turkish Delight, Impressionist Pencil Skirt).
Vintage Cotton Ruffle Shirt – $45 $19.99 $11.99
I bought the white a few weeks ago in the B&M. It’s a little shear but a great layering tee with some detail.
I bought the Bright Dahlia and the Olive Moss.

Cashmere Crewneck Tee – $145 $99 $59.99
I have a few of these in the short-sleeved version and love them.
They have been very versatile, with jeans and skirts.

Have a great day!

This post was totally inspired by Ginger Girl who also found some great items. Check out her picks here.

I headed over to Target and found lots of new shoes and sandals including the Dolce Vita for Target line.

First up – Dolce Vita for Target – I missed out on the Cynthia Vincent sandals so I was excited to see the offerings for the Dolce Vita line. There were only a few sandals at the one Target I went to but online there are boots, flats, oxfords and other sandals. Nothing is more than $29.99. I went with a 6 1/2 in all the DV shoes. The 7 was too loose in length and width.

(Please excuse the awful pedicure. I get lazy in the winter since I’m always wearing boots and flats not sandals.)

Sliver Wedge Sandal in Black – Size 6 1/2 – This is faux leather and has a back zipper and comes in pewter and gold.

Rope Wedge Sandals – Size 6 1/2 – $29.99
These also come in nude, dark brown and cognac, which I wanted badly but they did not have my size. There is a double-buckle at the ankle but also a back zipper.

Cork Wedge Sandal – $29.99 – Faux leather and also comes in gold, white, pewter and brown.

Mossimo Pilar Stappy Wedge in Brown – $29.99 – This has a covered wedge heel and a back zipper. Just a teensy bit loose in the 6 1/2 but the 6 was too tight. Also comes in nude, black and pink!

Mossimo Supply Co Wauna Braided Flat Sandals in Brown – $14.99
I looked for some cute somewhat casual sandals all summer last year but could never find anything I liked. I’m happy I found these, and at that price! They also come in a very pretty blue and a tan, almost yellow color.

Mossimo Pearce Pumps in Dove Patent – $29.99 – This is a great neutral gray/pearl colored shoe and also comes in Camel Patent.

As you can see, I happily “bought the shoes”! Have a great day!

I apologize if you saw this on Sunday. Even though I set up a scheduled post Blogger thought it would be funny to post it early.

Sorry I’ve been MIA this week. I had jury duty Monday and was selected as a juror. Then add tons of work to catch up on and finally, our wireless router went kaput. Even though I had my phone and could check emails it was odd not being on the internet. I was able to clean my awful dirty kitchen floor and start my closet clean-out. I should be posting/hosting a Blog Sale later today/tomorrow so be on the look-out for that. I was also able to get to Anthropologie and play dress up for almost 2 hours so I’ll post that this week too.

Here are some of my outfits from last week. The first few are for Jury Duty.

Turtleneck: J Crew Tissue Turtleneck
Sweater: J Crew Cashmere Shawl Popover in Jalapeno
Pants: Banana Republic
Boots: Steve Madden Inragee

It was really cold last week so I was able to finally wear my Italian Wool Blazecoat. A button popped off before I took it off the hanger but thankfully they are hidden when buttoned.

This is what I wanted to wear to Jury Duty one day but it was still too cold for a skirt, even with tights.

All items J Crew
Tissue Turtleneck in Blanched Orchid
Cashmere Cardigan in Bright Plum
Sunnie Pencil Skirt
Tights: Merona
Jean: J Crew FS Boot Cut
J Crew Pin

Friday – Work Catch-up Day: I found this Kimono Sleeved Turtleneck at Saks Off 5th last year. I made them take it off a mannequin.

Turtleneck: Saks Off 5th – I found this last year on a mannequin. The SA happily took it off the mannequin.
Tee: J Crew Striped Perfect Shirt
Jeans: JC Ankle Stretch Toothpick – Much like Gigi, I live in these.
Boots: Steve Madden

Turtleneck: JC Tissue Turtleneck
Wrap Cardigan: Forever 21
Skirt: JC Cypress Plaid
Leggings: J Crew
Socks: Gap
Ugg Sweater Boots – I wasn’t going anywhere and it was cold outside so I stayed cozy in my Uggs.

Tee: J Crew Drapey Bateau Tee
Cardigan: Old Navy
Jeans: JC Ankle Toothpick
Boots (not seen): Steve Madden Inragee

I’m off to finish my closet clean-out and run errands. Have a great day!

I’m off to jury duty in a little while but wanted to post a few pics of what I wore last week. I hope to post my court outfits by the weekend.

I couldn’t wait to wear my Double-Serge Stripe Pencil Skirt and was able to head in to the office on Wednesday last week. I paired it with my black cashmere tee and black suede Bronson Booties. I went sans tights only because it wasn’t a cold day. Necklaces are J Crew.

This was just a quick dinner outfit I wore on Friday.

J Crew Cashmere Tee in Matisse Blue –  These are just so easy to wear (and layer…see below).
J Crew Suede Bronson Booties
J Crew Blizzard Pearl Necklace
J Crew Flower Pin
J Crew Boutonniere Blazer (not seen)

This was to go see Black Swan Saturday night. After telling husband I never get to pick a movie when we go out he surprised us with tickets for Saturday night. And by us, I mean me and The Boy (Husband too, of course.) There was no right way to tell him that the movie wasn’t quite a teen-age boy kind of movie so I just encouraged Husband to watch the other trailers and decide for himself. We took The Boy anyway and he walked out of there saying it was a scary movie! and he was going to have nightmares. Funny that he thought of it that way. Oh, he also said he will never tell his friends he saw it, even if it was with his parents.

J Crew Polar Bear Sweater – Holiday 2006 (I think)
J Crew Cashmere Tee in Rose Dust
J Crew Ankle Stretch Toothpick Jeans
Louboutin Black Flats
J Crew Boutonniere Blazer (not seen)

I purchased both the Matisse Blue and Rose Dust Cashmere Tees on final sale and was very happy with them. I am hoping to pair the Rose Dust with my Lolli pants soon. The Boutonniere Blazer has been a great staple I’ve been using as outerwear since I purchased it. It hadn’t been that cold for a real coat but that all changed this weekend. I will be able to use my new Italian Wool Blazecoat this week.

Now off to jury duty.

Have a great day.

I’m proud of myself for getting dressed today considering how cold it was this morning. I even put on shoes instead of my Wicked Good Clogs. L.L. Bean has now come out with boots too (like Uggs). They are so comfy and cozy and if I could find a way to sleep in them I would!

On to my work-from-home outfit. It’s pretty basic but very bright.

Turtleneck: J Crew Tissue Turtleneck Tee in Orange Flame
Jeans: GAP Essential
Shoes: J Crew Penelope Peep-Toes

Have a great evening!
