TravelBella – Vegas in April

Husband and I are heading to Vegas for a few days. We are practicing for our “Empty Nest”, which we have taken to quite well. I’m still sad though. I’ve seen The Boy become such a wonderful person and I don’t want him to go anywhere. We plan to lounge around the pool during the days and catch a show or two so I’m excited to pack different things from my October trip. Silk Gingham Top, 6, $79.99 – Don’t accidentally put this in the wash as the silk will shrink and the Polyester lining will not. Not that I might have done that. Just giving you a little tip.

Collection Embroidered Neon Floral Skirt, 8, $169.99 – I cannot wait for Spring to wear this again. I thought about a Black Cashmere Tee but that seemed a little harsh against the neon bottom. If I figure out a way to wear this for Winter I’ll post the Que Bella.

And finally, this is not on sale but I am SO HAPPY I purchased the Tuxedo Topcoat!

Que Bella – Embellished Sweatshirts

We are still experiencing colder temps and an office visit on Thursday was a great reason to wear the Jeweled Chandelier Sweatshirt in Gray. I originally had the Ivory in a Small but felt I need a Medium instead. And the more I saw the Best Buy Commercial with Maya Rudolph the more I wanted the Gray. I was able to find it on a pop-back in the Medium. I paired it with the Toothpick in Coated Denim and my Louboutin Melisa booties.

I have been successful in finding “old school Crew” items, including several Lexington Blazers. I found this skirt (Kassie Mini Skirt, I think) from Holiday 2006 on ebay a few weeks ago. On Friday, I paired it with a GAP Tee, the Mini-Bows Sweatshirt and my Harper Boots. I thought this was very cute and Holiday-ish.

I have a lot to do today before heading to another Christmas Party tonight.

Que Bella – Factory Inspiration

After seeing this color pairing of Pink and Red from the Factory Outfit Obsessions section I had to recreate it.

I missed out on the Silk Boy Shirt in Windowpane but was happy to find it’s Factory offering in the Printed Silk Blouse. The Factory image has the Merino Charley Sweater in Maraschino Cherry but I used an Old Navy Cashmere sweater, from 2007, in Red as the perfect substitute. I replaced the Scallop Trim Mini with a J Crew oldie, the Flannel Parlour Skirt in Ivory. Because of the super cold day, I wore some Fleece Lined Leggings and my Harper Boots.

I was cozy and warm while out Christmas shopping. I took a size Medium in the blouse and runs TTS. Gigi reviewed it here. I can’t wait to wear this combo again. I have several different Ivory colored bottoms that I can use to change up this outfit slightly.
