OK, I get a little skeeved out by snakeskin prints. So when I saw this print in the No. 2 Pencil Skirt I knew it would not be making it into my closet. But, there’s no harm trying it on for blog’s sake, right?
No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Snake Print, Sz 6 – This is a wool/silk blend and fit TTS. The length seems a little long, more than normal. If I were to buy this it would be in a Petite 8 to shorten it up a little.
Blythe Blouse, Neon Kiwi, Sz 6 – Wow, is this bright. Even more so when paired with the Collection Cashmere Cardigan, in Neon Kiwi, Sz M.
This skirt is a pass for me. I’ll wait for another skirt in a print I prefer.
What do you think of this print and skirt?
I am not a fan of the snakeskin either. That green is certainly bright. It looks great with the skirt, but I imagine it would be very hard to wear next to ones face. Great review!
I am a huge fan of the snake print skirt! Since I seem to be in the minority, maybe I'll get lucky and get it on super sale :)! I think it looks great on you. I also love the bright tops on you. You look FABULOUS!
Audrey – you look good in that green – I can't wear anything like that close to my face!
I have the snakeskin skirt as you know and I really loved it! But if you don't like snakeskin, it is a definite pass! I loved the feel of the wool/silk – it felt very good quality as compared to the weight of the double serge wool skirts which I was looking at in the store!
Hi audrey, thank you for your reviews, esp. the factory ones.
My husband is in the states and he bought me the quincy plaid and the leopard perfect shirt because i saw your review and i could tell him specifics. i cant wait to get them!
He even got the pecentage off you mentioned!
The fabric is fabulous, but I found the fit on the smaller side compared to the cotton one I had with me in the fitting room at the same time.
I tried on the snakeskin skirt in my usual size 10 and it was very very tight across my thighs, so it was a no go. I hope I dont have the same problem with the new wool pencil skirts! Thanks for the pictures, I enjoy your blog.
Oooo its really bright, but I'm kind of liking the neon kiwi 🙂
