Kate Spade had new arrivals show up on the website yesterday and the only item I am lusting over are the Boardwalk Wedges. These cute little wedges are perfect for Summer. The denim will go with everything.

How pretty would they look with these dresses?

Here’s my first Shoes-day of 2015. I was able to try on a few pairs of shoes while at the Tory Burch store.

~ Lucia Lace Wedge Espadrille, Ivory/Medium Blue, 6 1/2 ~

I am normally a size 7 and I did have to size down to a 6 1/2, which has become my normal Tory Burch size. 

The colors at the toe are even more beautiful IRL For the short time I had these on they felt comfortable. I’m comfortable in wedges so the height did not bother me.

These will go so well with the J Crew Porcelain Paisley Pencil Skirt from a few Summers ago, don’t you think?

There was one absolute Shoes-Day favorite of mine this year…the Frye Shirley Artisan Tall Boot. I have worn these several times since I purchased them.

I was able to stretch them out with frozen water in a bag. Then from wearing them enough they stretched a little more in the calf and I was finally able to slip them over some skinny jeans, the Pilcro Stet Ankle Jeans. 

The Quinn Suede Ankle Boots from J Crew Factory were a close second. They have been so versatile and easy to throw on and have gone with a lot of my outfits this season.

My absolute favorite slippers are from LL Bean. They are the Wicked Good Slippers and I am on my second pair of Clogs. I love the Clogs because they have a rubber bottom making it safer to wear outside than just the regular soft-bottom slippers. Mine current pair are about three years old and it seems that maybe the quality has gone down a little, at least from the latest reviews.

I certainly didn’t need another pair of slippers but when I saw the Leopard ones I knew they would come home with me.Who doesn’t need a pair of Leopard slippers? 

I took my normal size 7 and they fit great. They come in Whole sizes only. J Crew recommends that half-sizes go up to the next whole size. They are so soft and cozy on my feet and I love looking down and seeing the leopard print. I don’t even mind the mis-match print. I guess it doesn’t bother me as much when it’s leopard.

These also comes in Metallic, Solid (Black & Dark Nutmeg), and Plaid for Christmas.

One other item I was in a desperate search for this Fall was a pair of navy blue booties. When I started searching the options were limited. Now they are plentiful in the retail world.

~ Alberto Fermani Anzio Low-Cut Suede Ankle Boot, Blue Notte ~

I found these at Neiman Marcus and though they are more Western looking with the pointy-toe they were the color I was wanting. I bought a size 37 but should have gone with a 38. I ended up using the freezer trick to widen them just a bit and it worked. 

The heel is not too high and the booties are very comfortable to walk in and wear all day.

They are suede and I used a Suede Shoe Protector on it. I also try not to wear them when it’s wet or damp outside.

Though the images above make the Anzio Ankle Boot look more gray-blue, below is the true color of the bootie.
