I had been lusting over these Iris Suede Sandals in Wild Berry since they first arrived online. I saw the Iris Patent Sandals in Black but never had the time to try them on until Sunday. When I went in the store they had the Black and the Bronze Tortoise only.

They are all in whole sizes so if you are in-between size up. The Suede & Patent are $118 and the Tortoise are $128. I was able to try on both the 6 & 7 and settled on my J Crew/regular size 7. I have the Tory Burch flip-flop in Tortoise but these dress up an outfit just a little bit more. I have no doubt I will be wearing these throughout the rest of the summer. These also come in Graphite Tortoise.

Nail color: Butter London in Jaffa, a coral-y orange

Enjoy your Shoes-day!

Today is the last day for J Crew’s 20% off with code SUNNY. There is not a discount on shipping with this
unfortunately. If you are looking for a heeled sandal, the Arène Platform Sandals are a wonderful choice, IMO. I already have these in Cognac and love them and I was able to find them in Anchor Grey.

They are on sale for $149.99 (final sale). I love the wood heel and they are comfortable. I wore these for over 4 hours, mostly walking and had no pain or blisters. I am a consistent size 7 in J Crew.
Hope that helps and Happy Shopping!

I love going to our neighborhood Ladies Luncheon’s. I don’t get to go every month but I made it a point to go today because I hadn’t been since the fabulous Christmas luncheon.

I wore pants today, and old ones too. These are from at least J Crew 2007. Anyone remember these? I have the same pair in a beautiful green. These fit perfectly everywhere, except the length. The sizing is a 6S, meaning S is for Short. Probably short for a person who is 6 foot but not for someone who is 5’2”. AND, I’ve never taken them to get hemmed. It’s about time I did that because I really like these pants.

Pants: J Crew Favorite Fit in White, 6S
Cami: J Crew Tulip Ruffle Cami in Dragonfly Blue, 8
Jacket: Old Navy Cropped Denim Jacket in White, M
Shoes: Vince Camuto Estera, 6 1/2 (not online anywhere yet…more info below)
The pants are so long they cover the entire shoe!

About the shoes…I found these Tuesday at Nordstrom’s. One of my other need/want items was a pair of Leopard sandals, preferably an espadrille or wedge. I saw some CL Carino Leopard Espadrilles on ebay but his espadrilles do not fit me well, probably because they are whole sizes only. So, these Vince Camuto’s just came in Monday evening and I was smitten when I saw them. I walked around the mall for a bit but kept thinking back to those lovely shoes. Since I parked by Nordstrom’s I knew I would have to walk back by them so when I did, I tried them on. The sales associate also brought out my new Black Glitter TOMS and I’m so glad she did.

Anyway, they are a sky-high, sling-back, wedge, espadrille-ish, peep-toe LEOPARD sandal. What more could a girl ask for?

These leopards are sky-high.
1 1/2 in. platform
4 3/4 in. heel
Size 6 1/2 (The 7s were loose on me at the front of the shoe.)
Price $117.95
Similar in style to the Edon.
It does have a skinny heel, for those of you who have problems walking in that type of shoe. I wore these for about three hours today without any problems. I stumbled only once but I do that in flats. I have to say they are pretty comfortable and even though they were high, I didn’t have any altitude sickness (haha) or issues with walking in them or it affecting my stride. You know you’ve seen those ladies walking in sky-high heels taking baby steps so they don’t tip over. They came in a light gray leather and one other color. Not sure when they’ll be online at Nordstrom’s or the Vince Camuto site.
Have a great evening!

So I have been kind of in love with the J Crew Juliet heels, specifically the Peacock color. Oh such a pretty teal blue. Alas, the Peacock Juliet’s have eluded me all year…until now.

As I was walking by Nine West on Saturday a flash of teal caught my eye. I walked in and there they were. Same color, well Medium Blue, and same wood heel, well tapered not blocked, but so similar to not at least try on.

I took a size 7 as the 6 1/2 was a smidge tight in the width. I’m so excited to finally have this color and at a great price. Online there are 8 different colors to choose from but this one was the best IMO.

Have a great day!

I headed over to Target and found lots of new shoes and sandals including the Dolce Vita for Target line.

First up – Dolce Vita for Target – I missed out on the Cynthia Vincent sandals so I was excited to see the offerings for the Dolce Vita line. There were only a few sandals at the one Target I went to but online there are boots, flats, oxfords and other sandals. Nothing is more than $29.99. I went with a 6 1/2 in all the DV shoes. The 7 was too loose in length and width.

(Please excuse the awful pedicure. I get lazy in the winter since I’m always wearing boots and flats not sandals.)

Sliver Wedge Sandal in Black – Size 6 1/2 – This is faux leather and has a back zipper and comes in pewter and gold.

Rope Wedge Sandals – Size 6 1/2 – $29.99
These also come in nude, dark brown and cognac, which I wanted badly but they did not have my size. There is a double-buckle at the ankle but also a back zipper.

Cork Wedge Sandal – $29.99 – Faux leather and also comes in gold, white, pewter and brown.

Mossimo Pilar Stappy Wedge in Brown – $29.99 – This has a covered wedge heel and a back zipper. Just a teensy bit loose in the 6 1/2 but the 6 was too tight. Also comes in nude, black and pink!

Mossimo Supply Co Wauna Braided Flat Sandals in Brown – $14.99
I looked for some cute somewhat casual sandals all summer last year but could never find anything I liked. I’m happy I found these, and at that price! They also come in a very pretty blue and a tan, almost yellow color.

Mossimo Pearce Pumps in Dove Patent – $29.99 – This is a great neutral gray/pearl colored shoe and also comes in Camel Patent.

As you can see, I happily “bought the shoes”! Have a great day!

I apologize if you saw this on Sunday. Even though I set up a scheduled post Blogger thought it would be funny to post it early.
