I just wanted to show you my outfit from Monday when I had to go into the office.

All J Crew
Jackie in Pearl (2010)
Factory 4-strand Pearls
Christian Louboutin Simple 70 Pumps in Navy

A true navy shoe…I’m in love.
I removed the belt from the cami since I was wearing a cardigan over it. I should have belted over both of them but I didn’t have a skinny navy belt and I didn’t want to do a skinny brown leather so I left it alone.

Also, here’s an IRL shot of my new Gold TOMS wedges.

You’ll see them soon in an Que Bella post.

Have a great day!

Here are a few OOTDs from this week.

Monday – Valentine’s Day – Honestly, Husband and I decided long ago to not celebrate. It’s nice to receive flowers and cards and chocolate but I’d rather have them on a day where he doesn’t seem like he’s forced to do it. Just make it random. Of course, that didn’t stop me from buying a card and for he and The Boy, along with making a nice dinner and having some wine.

Blouse/Corset: Polynya Corset Top in Black Anthropologie
Cardigan: J Crew Factory Store in Dark Peony (I think – DPE)
Skirt: JC Ripple Stripe Pencil Skirt in Black (6)
Shoes: JC Penelope in Black

Tuesday – Shopping with Husband for his Vegas trip. We had some beautiful, 75 degree weather that day.

Blouse: J Crew Silk Sequin Scoopneck – Size Small (look for popbacks)
Jeans: JC Ankle Stretch Toothpick in Cherish Wash – Size 30
Shoes: Prada Leopard Flats

Wednesday in the office – Such a gorgeous dress and it feels great on. It makes me feel great! I was looking for a cardigan to go over it and thought of a lime green or mint color. But then I walked into J Crew and saw the Warm Buttercup Jackie was a PERFECT PERFECT match!

Dress: Take Action by Girls from Savoy Anthropologie – Size 6
Cardigan: J Crew Jackie in Warm Buttercup – Size M
Shoes: J Crew Joley in Twig (I think)

See what I mean!

Have a great evening!

Here’s today’s outfit. I almost wore boots again but remembered I had these Frye Mary Jane’s. This is the first time I’ve worn the skirt even though I’ve had it for over a month.

Tee: J Crew Lace Tee in Cobblestone
Cardigan: J Crew Jackie in Burnished Olive
Skirt: J Crew Donegal Tweed Atlee
Socks: J Crew
Shoes: Frye

Sorry I haven’t been posting. My week got a little better, then it got worse. My poor sweet little Bella is having back surgery today. She has a ruptured disc and has been in so much pain. She stayed at the vet hospital last night and will be there over the weekend. She looked so sad when we left her yesterday. But when she comes home she’ll get lots of “mommy-loving” while she recuperates. I may even let Husband make bacon as a treat for her.

Here she is with her “brother” Gus.

The sun is coming out today so here’s an OOTD using my Watercolor Potpourri mini from J Crew.

An option with wedges…
Here’s what I wore for St. Patrick’s Day. Husband and The Boy both wore green on their boxers, not realizing it until later and after they got pinched. I told them if you couldn’t see it that it didn’t count.
I think most people who purchased this top from the Liberty of London for Target wore it on Wednesday.
I didn’t put this back on but this is the top part of what I wore to the office on Tuesday. I love the Burnished Olive Jackie with the Rose Vines Shirt. I think it looks great together.
Have a great weekend. Husband says he’s taking me shopping today. I haven’t been to J Crew to see the New Arrivals so he’s in for a treat/surprise/shock to see me in action.

Not to rub it in but this is the BEST weather. Cool enough for a light cardigan but you can still wear shorts. Not too hot or humid that you need a shower as soon as you walk out the door. Blue skies and not a cloud in the sky. LOVE IT!!

I received my Anthropologie order today and changed part of my original OOTD from my Polyvore set. I purchased the Brass Tack Wedges (on sale) and the Toe-Tapping Flats. I needed another pair of classic black flats and for $64 they were perfect. I love the studding on the Brass Tack Wedges…so cool.

Here’s the Polyvore.

And the IRLs…
Close to the edge…trying not to fall in or off.

I really like the print of this Kelsey ruffle cami. The ruffles are growing on me and I think the sweater tamed it down and kept me from looking too clown-ish. I bought this color of Jackie sweater, Pearl after seeing Gigi’s review of the Jackie sweaters. This is really a great color, not white, not gray…perfect IMO.
The shorts are just a different color of the the ones I wore yesterday. They are a 3 1/2 inch inseam but they do sit right on my hips (size 6) so they feel a little longer. I normally prefer 5 inch or longer (Bermudas) but these are great. I don’t feel like I’m over-exposing my legs. I would have never know if I hadn’t tried them on. The belt was an after thought when I was in the store. I wasn’t sure what I would wear it with but decided to bring it home anyway. Perfect for this outfit and with these shoes.
