The CFS must have been off and let an intern create the copy for the Collection Darby Calf-Hair Loafer.

Short and sweet
I ordered these with one of my last 20% Bounce Back cards. They were not part of the 25% Shoe promo a few weeks ago. I adore these shoes. The Calf-Hair is luxurious and feel like my old Prada flats. I took my normal size 7 and they are a perfect fit.

Have a Great Shoes-Day!

First off, don’t forget to enter my Giveaway!

I have been waiting to wear my new Flair Skirt since I received it. I thought today would be the perfect day to wear it. I have errands to run, baking to do and, of course, my actual job. Also, this skirt is not meant for Thanksgiving Day, if you want to eat. I cannot hide a food-baby up in this flair.

This a very simple outfit and I feel very 50s housewife/mom in this.

Easy-Peasy…so simple.
Have a Great day!

I am really happy I am finally able to wear something other than shorts. It’s nice to finally wear clothes you readers have wearing for weeks – cardigans, booties, long-sleeves. I created a Polyvore of this same outfit but with the J Crew Seacomb Sweater. Unfortunately, the sweater completely covered up the Arced Crosshatch Blouse, which was not my intention. I wanted to keep the look in the black/gray color scheme and when looking through my sweater boxes I came across my J Crew Plaid Boyfriend Cardigan. So I also give you a little pattern mixing.

(I have 2 pair in this color. I cannot express how much I love these jeans.)
Now, here’s a quick little Shoes-day about the Perry Peep-Toe Booties.
I’ve had my eye on these little booties for a while. I was very leary of making a purchase because they looked like the same style as the Odeon Oxford Booties which did not work out for me because they ran small. I hadn’t seen anyone mention these until The Chic Chauffeur wore them a few weeks ago. She confirmed my suspicions that they fit just like the Odeon’s.
When JC offered 30% off sale I ordered these in a 7 1/2 as opposed to my usual size 7. They were just a little tight in the width when I first put them on but stretched a bit as I wore them throughout the day. I like the menswear pinstripe tweed on the gray tweed. It’s such a fun bootie and I may try to wear them with Blythe Shirtdress.
Speaking of the Blythe Shirtdress, I saw it in the San Antonio La Cantera store for $59.99 plus 30% on Thursday in both the Navy and Poppy. Also, there was one more Merino Skirt in a Large on sale and lots of the Maisie Dress in Getaway Green for $59.99 plus 30% off. Just putting that out there if you were looking for any of those.
Have a great day!

I haven’t done an OOTD in a while but the Jardin skirt is too pretty to have it miss out on any blogger love. I tried to re-create this image from the August Catalog for a hot summer day.

Skirt: J Crew Jardin Skirt, Rich Purple
Flats: Joley Peep-Toe in Pink/Blush

Sammy decided he was in a hurry and couldn’t wait for me to take the picture.

Well, here’s what he was in a hurry to do. I have no idea what he was doing exactly but it seems I interrupted him.

Have a Great Day!

I had been lusting over these Iris Suede Sandals in Wild Berry since they first arrived online. I saw the Iris Patent Sandals in Black but never had the time to try them on until Sunday. When I went in the store they had the Black and the Bronze Tortoise only.

They are all in whole sizes so if you are in-between size up. The Suede & Patent are $118 and the Tortoise are $128. I was able to try on both the 6 & 7 and settled on my J Crew/regular size 7. I have the Tory Burch flip-flop in Tortoise but these dress up an outfit just a little bit more. I have no doubt I will be wearing these throughout the rest of the summer. These also come in Graphite Tortoise.

Nail color: Butter London in Jaffa, a coral-y orange

Enjoy your Shoes-day!
