Ebates is giving you early access to Gap Friends & Family today. You can take 40% off with GAPEBATES. And Ebates is offering 8% Cash Back when you order online at GAP. Sign up for Ebates here. I haven’t shopped GAP in a while. I go in to the store but haven’t found anything that piqued my interest. But there are several things for Fall/Winter that I can see myself wearing.
There are so many multi-colored striped options from sweaters to accessories to flats to a super cute girl’s striped dress I wish I could wear. I guess I will have to settle for this blanket. I do wish these suede boots would fit but it looks like the calf is probably not wide enough for me.
Ebates has also added more stores to the in-store cash back. All you need to do is link a credit or debit card; find an in-store cash back offer on the Ebates site and link it to your card; then SHOP! Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor and J.Crew Factory are just a few stores where you can receive cash back by shopping in-store.
~ Seersucker Tile Print Shirt
, Moody Blue, Small ~
This shirt is textured as well as printed and I was worried The Boy wouldn’t like it but he surprised me again. Of the Old Navy and Gap shirts I bought him, he likes this one the most. Again, size Small is TTS for him.
You can see the texture a little better in this pic.
~ Oversized Palm Print Popover, Blue Surf, Small ~
I didn’t realize it until after it arrived but this shirt is similar to the J Crew Shirt in Jasmin Floral
He already has so I’m not sure if he will actually wear it. I’ll give him another week before I return it.
~ Lived-in Sketch Floral Shirt, Cucumber Peel, Small ~
I liked the colors and small floral print on this one and The Boy said he liked it but we’ll see if he wears it. I’ll give him a couple of weeks before returning it. This one is called Lived-In and is really soft. It was hard to choose which print to get since I liked them all but I chose this green and red floral print to give him a color other than blue.
The Boy is back off to college in a month and he’s asked for another pair of pants, jeans, and shorts. He says he wants to dress a little better for classes this year. I am happily surprised by this.
Have a Great Day!

Last year I found a black linen top from GAP that I wore the rest of the Summer. I’ve been looking for the same type of blouse in other colors since then. GAP has filled the need again with a Linen Top in various colors. Since none of the 4 stores in my area had my size, I went ahead and took a chance and ordered every color offered.
~ Linen Top
, Fire Sky, Medium ~
It looks like the Medium fits in these pics but the arms were a little tight. When I moved my arms the shirt was a snug across the chest or back, depending on how I moved. And when I took this off, it was a bit of a struggle pulling it over my head. These are 100% Linen so there will be immediately wrinkling when you put on the shirt. I liked the bright orange of the Fire Sky color.
~ Cargo Khaki, True Indigo, White, Fire Sky, Faded Black ~
I actually have a white linen top from Zara that I bought last year and again this year in a larger size as a back-up. I could have dealt with the slightly snug fit if I didn’t have to struggle getting it off. If I would lose a little weight these would have fit just fine but if I buy something now I want it to fit for the size and fit I am now. Had these fit I would have kept all colors except the Cargo Khaki and White, since I have two of that color.
Have you tried the Gap Linen Top? Despite the wrinkles, I find Linen so comfortable and easy to wear in the Summer.

I have a Shoes-day Guest post today! A new online friend, Dianna, has agreed to give a quick review on the Gap Chelsea Bootie in Black Leather.
I am pleasantly surprised by my new purchase. At 40% off the retail price with a coupon code, these booties are reasonably priced with a superb quality.
The leather is soft. The stitches are precise. And they are really a comfortable pair of shoes if you need to be on your feet for a long time.
The knit side made it easy to put on the take off the shoes. It comes in brown and gray too. Well done GAP!
Thanks Dianna! I have seen the Chelsea Booties in person and the black look really nice.

We are still experiencing colder temps and an office visit on Thursday was a great reason to wear the Jeweled Chandelier Sweatshirt in Gray. I originally had the Ivory in a Small but felt I need a Medium instead. And the more I saw the Best Buy Commercial with Maya Rudolph the more I wanted the Gray. I was able to find it on a pop-back in the Medium. I paired it with the Toothpick in Coated Denim and my Louboutin Melisa booties.
I have been successful in finding “old school Crew” items, including several Lexington Blazers. I found this skirt (Kassie Mini Skirt, I think) from Holiday 2006 on ebay a few weeks ago. On Friday, I paired it with a GAP Tee, the Mini-Bows Sweatshirt and my Harper Boots. I thought this was very cute and Holiday-ish.
I have a lot to do today before heading to another Christmas Party tonight.
Have a Great Day!
