I am lucky enough that I am able to work-from-home most of the year. I usually have to visit the office once or twice a month. It’s not required, but sometimes a project or meeting needs my actual presence, not my virtual one.

I love my Plaza Skirt in Glen Plaid and couldn’t wait to wear it again. This time I pattern-mixed it with the Tory Burch Peg Shell (now on sale). I was in a rush and didn’t have time for a great pic. I’ll wear this again though as I absolutely loved this pairing!

I wanted to be casual but chic on my Wednesday visit and chose the same colors from my Old Navy post. The blazer came off around lunch since it wasn’t as cool by the afternoon. I probably could have done a darker wash jean but I love the Toothpick Jean in Miller Wash. They are so stretchy and comfortable.

These are two of my favorite outfits. I can’t wait to style something similar again!

So here’s Day 2. Very super casual with a tee, jean and barefoot.

Tee: J Crew Imperial Tee
Jeans: GAP Destructed Boyfriend
Belt: Lucky Brand

The I had to run some errands and added the cardi and shoes.

Cardigan: J Crew Factory Primrose Cardigan (Factory cardi is cotton not merino)
Shoes: Steve Madden Trouser

Day 3 – Had an appointment today so I’m dressy casual. (Is that a style of dressing?)

Shirt: J Crew Factory L/S Stretch Perfect Shirt
Jeans: GAP Curvy
(I couldn’t find my Essential Jeans **dirty** so I swapped these in. I’ll keep these in the rotation and leave out the Essential. I just wanted a basic dark jean to wear with heels. This pair isn’t too good for flats like my Essential but they’ll do.)
Heels: Ann Taylor Perfect Pump
Necklace: J Crew

I just wanted to share how great the shirt is with the Gray color of the J Crew Sunnie Pencil Skirt.

Have a great evening!

Another office visit and a high school prep day are good reasons to dress up.

Monday I headed into the office again and chose the Ink Blossom Pencil Skirt. I honestly love J Crew pencil skirts. They are so flattering. I originally thought of wearing the Kelsey Ruffle cami with this skirt and even took a picture to debate it.

What do you think?

I eventually decided on being a little less bold and more match-y.

Cami: J Crew Outlet
Skirt: J Crew – Ink Blossom Pencil Skirt
Shoes: Ann Taylor Perfect Pump in Porcini

LOVE THESE SHOES. Lasted a 10-hour day and not a smidge of pain.

Here’s what I wore today for The Boy’s Prep Day at high school. Yay for me! I didn’t cry.

Dress: J Crew Bazaar Print Tunic Dress
Shoes: Christian Louboutin Hola Flat

Of course, since I went in to the office I had to stop by the J’Crewlet. I know I just went two weeks ago but you never know what new items could show up. I did a quick scan and saw nothing new. The Eden Corduroy Blazer was on sale for $59.50.

Then I saw this necklace on the way out. They just came in over the weekend. During the summer I saw this necklace in the B&M and wanted it so badly but I just couldn’t justify the cost. So when I saw this for $49.50 AND 30% off jewelry, I didn’t hesitate to march right up to the register and buy it.

Necklace: J Crew Outlet (similar to Pearl Twisted Hammock)
Style #27531
$49.50 + 30% off

This is the same necklace but in natural that I found at the outlet before Christmas, in the sale section. It was $19.99 plus 20% off sale items.

Pretty pearls…

Have a great evening!

Yes, I got a haircut over the weekend and LOVE IT! I’m going to “attempt” to start growing it out but it’s hard when I get cuts like this that make me happy.
