After missing out on the Etta in Hummingbird I knew I at least wanted to see the Etta IRL. My store didn’t carry them so an online order had to be placed. Luckily the Collection Etta Snakeskin Pumps are on sale for $249.99 plus the 30% off. I hadn’t used my Rewards Card so my total was $149.99 plus tax. A great deal for a beautiful shoe.

I took my normal size 7. The heel comes to 3 1/2 inches with the slight 1/4 inch platform but it does still pitch you forward just a bit. Posture is definitely key with these shoes.

This first image was taken without flash. The color is called Deep Violet but as you can see it reads more Blue.  The rest of the images were taken with flash.

The insole is cushioned and the heel is nice and chunky to help steady you, if needed. These are a great addition to my Shoe Wall.
What do you think of the Etta’s?

I have been waiting for this dress since I first saw it during the Spring 2013 Preview in January.

I was starting to think it wouldn’t be made as every roll-out of New Arrivals didn’t have it – until last week. I was so excited I clicked on through without launching Ebates first!
The Collection Suncation Dress is very pajama-chic with white piped edges and hems and a straight silhouette. It has a slight low-high hemline and is not lined. The design is printed on the matte side of the silk charmeuse and I will agree with the CFS that the silk does feel soft against the skin.
The size 6 is a great fit without any pulling at the chest or hips. I vary in size between 6 and 8 depending on the style of a dress. I’d say to go with your normal size on this one.

Side view of the low-high split hem…

As you can see this is not lined. The shiny silk is the inside of the dress.

The adorable designs…the Shuffleboard is cute while the lady sunbathing looks a little “hulky” to me.

The dress pairs nicely with the Collection Etta in Snakeskin, though IRL they read more blue than Violet. I’ll have a review of those soon. They are on sale right now for $249.99 plus 30% off. If you haven’t used your Rewards Card (like me) you can get them for $150 (like me).
You see can this print in the Vacationland Blouse on Ema and Beach Chic Girl.

Kate Spade Factory is having 40% off the entire store starting tomorrow through Tuesday plus an additional 20% off Handbags. I was there about a week ago and found a few things, one of which was straight from the “Specialty” aka Retail store.

The Maccaw Clutch was too adorable to leave in the store. I think this was $175 plus 40% off. It works well with my Anthro Nimbin Blouse.
Clothes were 40% off too. This is the Call to Action Tee from January/Early Spring. It was $45 plus the 40%.
I believe this is the Metro Spade Darby purse. I’m still deciding on this but I don’t have a black purse of any kind. It was $98 plus 40% off.
Lastly, is something I’ve been wanting for a while but couldn’t decide on which KS Seaport to get. This was at the Factory and though I thought I wanted Gold this will do just fine, it was $195 and then another 40% off.
These are stackable discounts and the SAs are more than happy to share that with you, which I love! Can you imagine how you would be treated in the Specialty store? it is definitely one of my stops next month in NYC. If you live near one it will be nice to go check out the store.

Have a Great Day!

These are just a couple of things I’ve picked up at Anthropologie over the last few months. The Fashion Show last week aided in some of these purchases.

Smocked Malee Dress, 6 – I have wanted this dress since I saw it in the catalog but I kept passing on it because I heard the smocking didn’t give very well. Then I would change my mind when one of my favorite SA’s would wear it (hi Michelle!). Once my mother saw the dress she said I had to get it. I was able to order this in both the 6 and 8 when the 15% off was going on the day before Mother’s Day. The 6 fits great and the smocking in the shoulders is not uncomfortable at all. Also, I don’t feel this is any shorter than some of my favorite J Crew mini skirts I have.

The back seems a little longer than the front.

Swiss Dot Shirtdress, Green, 8 – This was a dress I saw on another customer and grabbed my size to try it on. The color reads more of a Teal than a true green and the hue is very pretty. I had to size to an 8 because the bust pulled and gaped open. The 8 did a little but switching to a thinner, non-padded bra helped with that. I added my Louboutin Puglia Espadrilles and my white enamel link bracelet from Etsy for an office day.
Lidia Embroidered Dress by Moulinette Soeurs, 6 – This was an anniversary gift, sort of. Husband had rushed in because he “miscalculated” our anniversary date (in other words, he forgot.) He grabbed the Provencal Blouse but it fit a little tight in the shoulders and was 100% Polyester. I exchanged the blouse for this dress but since one of the little flowers was snagged I ordered it online through the store. I was lucky enough to get a PA as this dress is now on sale, and for $8 less than the blouse. I saved Husband some money! I am able to wear the size 6 as the back has some elastic to stretch a little more. I love this dress and it will be coming with me on my trip. I wore it to work with the J Crew Factory Summer-Weight Cardigan in White and my Navy Cece’s. I removed the cardigan and changed to my Seville Chambray Espadrilles for the Anthropologie Fashion Show.
Nimbin Peasant Blouse by Tolani, XS – I fell in love with this blouse after seeing this on the cute SA from the Fashion Show. This blouse runs small. This is a flowy blouse and depending on how you want wear it will depend on if you go down one or two sizes. I decided to go down two sizes to the XS but the Small fit well too. I wore this with my JC Pleated Shorts in White and my TB Thora in Lizard for a friend’s birthday.

Pompom Crest Tee by Meadow Rue, S – This is one of those embellished tees that is just oh-so-comfy. I sized to a Small as I wanted it to be a little less flowy. Depending on your preference of fit you can go with your normal size or down one. The material is a little thin but not like the Linen tees. The embellishment and pompoms are so adorable. It’s so comfortable I wanted to sleep in it.

Key Lime Apron – I just noticed this went on sale too. I am not lucky with PAs but this will be 3 all at once. That’s pretty awesome. I have a waist apron but not a full-length one. I bought this anticipating whether or not I would receive one for Mother’s Day (I did). But now that it’s on sale and I’ll get a PA I will probably keep it. It’s very cute and green (fave!).

Parley Weels by Holding Horses, 7 – Kind of high, yes, but the platform helps manage that. These were also used in the Fashion Show and you can see them on me in the first two images above. I love the mix of the cork and wood together.

Anything catch your eye? There are lots of great Fresh Cuts for this week!

Have a Great Day!

On Thursday night, my local Anthropolgie had their first ever Fashion Show. It was so much fun and it was great to see all the Anthro items enticing us for Summer!

As soon as this cute model came out in the Nimbin Peasant Blouse I knew I needed it. She looked absolutely laid back but chic and definitely ready for some shopping in a beach town.

In person, the Soraya Maxi Dress is so vibrant. The blue with the yellow is so pretty and fun.

Another maxi dress I loved was the Sunburst Maxi Dress. I also found out it comes in Petites online! The beading in the front is gorgeous.

A floppy hat is a definite must for summer. I think this one is Rippling Ribbon Floppy Hat. The Coralline Peplum Top is stunning in person.

The Ikat Shorts in black and cream with the peach colored Pleated Santari Buttondown make this outfit super chic for me.  The model is also wearing the Parley Weels wedges, which I loved!

My friend Catalina and I had a lot of fun and also saw Molly there too who just happened to also be a model. Hopefully you’ll see her in the quick video below!

The Fashion Show was so much fun and I hope they do it again for Fall!
Have a Great Evening!
