If you are an Anthropologie card holder, starting today you can take 20% off your purchase, sale or full price items. There are items I want both in-store and online only so I will probably place an order online and pay the shipping. At the top of my list are the Melange Lace Pencil Dress and the Rosewood Lace Top. I know I’ll get more use out of the blouse but I really love the lace dress.

And these are the other items currently sitting in my cart. I’ll whittle them down to one or two more items. I’m leaning towards these embroidered jeans and these colorblock booties in the Navy.

If you are shopping in-store, show your Anthro card or give them your phone number to look up your account. If you are shopping online you can use code FALLPERK.

I am back from my mini-vacation just in time to see all the new cherry print items J.Crew rolled out for October. We had a little sneak preview when the Flutter-Sleeve Top (review) was put out in stores at the end of August. Now it’s truly rolled out along with all the other items in the print, but with a black background and red cherries. I was at the store Wednesday and tried on every piece I could find. Those reviews are coming soon.

I liked the Tippi Sweater but since I haven’t had the opportunity to wear my Embellished Bee Tippi I probably won’t buy it. I love the ruffle bottom of the wrap dress but the top is a little low-cut. A short block heel is on the Ankle-Wrap Heels and you can choose a necklace or bracelet with cherries. Finishing up the accessories are a pretty little silk scarf or socks.

I sure do wish J.Crew allowed more than 100 items in a wishlist. Or at least allowed you to create separate categories under your account. Mine is completely full and I’ll have to start making more purchases if I want to add anything from the November and Holiday rollouts coming in the next few months.

Have you tried any of the cherry print items? What is your favorite?

J Crew Factory rolled out some goodies this week and GiltCity added to that by offering a 35% off coupon! Of course, now I cannot decide what I want to order. I am finding shirtdresses will be a major part of my Fall and Winter wardrobe so I like the Light Indigo Shirtdress. I like that that it does not have a collar, allowing for a plaid or gingham button-down to be worn underneath.

I know I absolutely need that Polka Dot Caryn Cardigan. I will wear that more than the Teddie in Polka Dot. The Dark Redwood of the Button-Front Corduroy Skirt looks like the Masala Chai, at least online. I hope they bring a few more colors because I would love to see it in Navy or Black. And I always look at the men’s section for chunky sweaters and scarves. The Fisherman Sweater is back and the Donegal Shawl Collar Sweater looks cozy.

What have you added to your wishlist from the latest J Crew Factory rollout? I am hoping to get to the store next week to see some of these IRL.

As soon as I ordered the Gingham Sandals with the Ankle Wraps I knew I wanted a white shirtdress to wear with them. Now, I have the J.Crew Short-Sleeve Shirtdress but I wanted something more structured as well as flattering. The J.Crew white shirtdress is too short for the sandals, which has a 3 5/8 inch heel. I liked the Michael Kors white dress but the arms looked like they might run a little tight.

I found a few dresses at TheRealReal but not in my size. The Ralph Lauren dress was sleeveless and eyelet, making it too Summery. So, what did I find?

The Sophia Shirt Dress from Boden and it was on sale. I ordered the white in an 8 Regular. It is a perfect fit! It’s a little stretchy but not too much. It has cap sleeves and is a fit-and-flare style with the length hitting me just at the knee. Perfect!

You can see the pockets on the white shirtdress dress and I am wearing nude-colored undergarments. I think this works instead of finding a slip to wear under the skirt portion.

The most surprising and best part of the dress are the reverse buttons. I don’t know what the official name is but basically, the dress buttons to the inside and outside. This is especially helpful at the waist and bust where gaping can happen.

And, to tag along with the shirtdress, I found the cutest booties. They style is very reminiscent of my Rag & Bone Newbury Booties (TheRealReal in Leopard). I love the Leopard calf-hair on these and the stacked 3 1/2 inch heel. There’s a low-heeled bootie if you prefer that instead. I am usually a 7/37 but Boden suggested I order a size 38. They fit a little loose in the toe box but I am pretty sure I bought the right size. I will be wearing socks with these so that will help make them more snug.

The zippers are on both sides of the bootie, in case you need a wider space to get your foot in.

Through tonight you can take 20% off at Boden. That will decrease to 15% on Friday and 10% Saturday and Sunday. If you have an account you should see a code or prices automatically updated to reflect the discount.

I hope everyone is ready for a long weekend. I know I am! I have only two things to do this weekend and that’s relax and watch some College Football. Football and Basketball – Those are the two sports seasons I cannot wait for. I’m not really into watching baseball over the Summer but it was great to have the Olympics hold my attention for two weeks. I also think I will try to go back into Anthropologie and peruse the sale section. This time there is 40% off all sale items. I reviewed the Chiffon Clipdot Dress, which is on sale, and there is a dress in these reviews that also went on sale.

~ Foxiedox Farfara Dress, Medium ~

I liked the colors, shape and fit of this dress until I noticed the lace panel on the chest shows your bra. You’ll either need to wear a strapless bra or some type of convertible bra or add a cami. It’s a synthetic material which make it machine washable but I think this would be so much prettier in silk, especially at the price point it’s at.

~ Holding Horses Folklore Tunic, size 6 ~

This tunic dress looked huge on the hanger so I grabbed a size 6. I probably should have taken an size 4 with me to the dressing room. Honestly, this is shapeless, unflattering and the fit is huge. The chambray portion is washed out and not as saturated as the online image. Anthro usually gets those things right and there isn’t much difference between online images and IRL in-store. The embroidery is pretty but it’s definitely not worth $200. Thing is, people like this dress. There are 15 reviews averaging almost 4 stars.

~ Maeve Ria Dropwaist Shirtdress, size 8 ~

The print on this shirtdress is just the cutest. And I love the colors as well. It’s so perfect for Fall and Winter. It looks big on the hanger but there wasn’t a size 6 to try on so I am wearing the size 8. I definitely need the size 6. The arms and chest are really loose and the waist is huge. I love the length and  I can definitely see myself wearing this a lot.

~ NUE by Shani Aliz Dress, Bright Red, size 8 ~

I saw this dress on the hanger a few weeks ago and couldn’t wait to go back and try it on. It looks so pretty in the red with the laser cutouts and nude underlining. This fits TTS with the 8 fitting just perfect. It also comes in black, if you are looking for a lovely alternative to your LBD.

~ Byron Lars Lace Melange Pencil Dress, size 8 ~

This may be the year I finally purchase a Byron Lars dress. The Carissima Sheath always seemed too sheer due to the nude underlining. But this dress is lovely in person. It’s very lacy which I don’t really wear but it fits like a dream. There’s a detachable belt and a back zip.

There are so many pretty things at Anthropologie right now. I added quite a bit to my wishlist.

Are you shopping the Anthropologie sale this weekend?
