This is my birthday month! Yay! I’ve been searching Anthropologie trying to narrow down my picks. I think I finally have the right combination of “For Me” and “For the Home”.

Torres Dress – I love Bailey 44. This dress is a great fit-and-flare for Summer. That it comes in Navy/White is just a bonus.

Flora Vignette Dress – I am anxious to try this dress. It’s been on my wishlist since it came out.

Jardin Swing Tank – I love the mix of the different prints and patterns though I’m not keen on the Polyester (though there shouldn’t be any Laundry mishaps with Poly).

Sereno Embroidered Cami – I’ve been looking for a good embroidered white blouse or cami and this just might work.

Falcon Slingbacks – The heel. The dark leather color. The woven leather. I love it all.

Mara Hoffman Coverlet & Shams – I am always looking for non-feminine bedding for the Master bedroom to appease Husband. The blue/white reverse will go well with the decor and paint.

Tuileries Quilt, Bed Skirt, Sham & Euro Sham – Now, the Guest Room is a different story as that is where my closet is located. I’ve had a Butterfly Pottery Barn Duvet on it for years, probably since we moved in, so maybe it’s times to switch things up.

Entomology Shower Curtain – When The Boy leaves for college in the Fall I will probably update his bathroom. If I pass on the Tuileries items, this shower curtain will match the current bathroom decor and the current guest room Duvet.

What do you think?

The Cleo Fabric Loafers in Turquoise Orange were a pair that I was not expecting to find, or buy. But Net-a-Porter had them on sale a few weeks ago and I was able to find my size. With free shipping and free returns I always love shopping on Net-a-Porter.

The multi-color satin shantung makes them wearable with pretty much anything. The trim is blue suede.

The Sophia Webster’s are gorgeous in the same fabric but I know I’ll wear the Loafers more. Though I miss the Darby’s I do find the Cleo Loafers run TTS.

I wonder if we will see this print, maybe in Cotton, for a Factory option next year. It’s always hard to guess which shoe options or patters will make it to the Factory each season.

Here are a few more plaid shoe options. The Sesto Meucci’s are really cute. I may have to go find those. The TOM’s are a nice neutral Madra.

Happy Shoes-day!

Having been under-whelmed with J Crew retail releases I used my Rewards Card on a couple of Factory items. I ordered the Beaches Sweatshirt in a Medium for a more slouchy fit. Now I just need to crank down the A/C and wear it.

The Love Collector Tee is just another cute graphic tee I couldn’t pass up. I’m wearing a Medium. The cotton is really soft.

The Aqua Centerpiece Necklace matches the Crystal Compilation Bracelet almost exactly. I missed out on the retail necklace so I was happy to see it show up at the Factory.

This is on the last jump ring.
This is on the first jump ring, making the necklace sit a little higher up.
Bracelet and necklace…almost a perfect match.
What have you purchased from the Factory lately?

I had a Banana Republic mail-day last week and was very happy with what I received. I checked in my stores for the Lemon Print Full Skirt but only saw the dress which is no longer online. Based on a few other full-skirt try-ons I ordered a size 6 in this skirt. I love everything about this skirt – the print, fit, length, pockets! I’ll balance the fullness of the skirt with a slim top or one tucked in.

I was able to order the Marimekko Collection Kivet Hampton Pant first thing in the morning on release day. I ordered my normal Hampton pant size of 6 and was able to get them in Short length. The fit is perfect. I thought the big dots on a pant might be a little overwhelming for me but I casually had on a graphic tee with it and it looked cool. I can’t wait to wear them!

You can still find the dress, sweater and skirt in the Kivet print online and in some stores.

Lemons seem to be a trend as Kate Spade, Ann Taylor and Banana all have some items. I would expect Forever 21 to pop some up too here soon.

Were you able to get anything from the Marimekko Collection? Have any “Lemons” in your closet?

I didn’t even notice the Linen Chevron Maxidress came in the Black Ivory. I only saw the True Blue online and never clicked to look at the details of it. I tried on a size 8 in the True Blue and that was pretty big in the chest. I tried the size 6 in the Black Ivory and that fit better though I considered sizing down one more to a 4. On the hangar I really liked the Black but once I had them both on, I liked the True Blue better. The linen is very soft and it’s lined in Cotton. Though I have no need for it, I wishlisted the True Blue

I love the gray and white of the Stripe Basket-Weave Dress. I have on a size 6 and is very fitted. I would need to go to my normal size 8 for this type of dress. I am zipped to the waist. I wish I had a Summer wedding to wear this.

Lastly, is the Crepe Maxidress in Hammock Green. I have on a Small and this fits pretty well. The shoulders could be altered a little to lift the dress a little. Movement seemed to shift the V-neck a little lower. The length is perfect, just sitting above the floor. I love both of my Silk Crepe Maxidresses so I passed on this one. I prefer the Scoopneck instead of the v-neck.

Have you tried any of these dresses? Anyone tried the Linen Maxidress in the solid colors?
