The neighborhood ladies Christmas Lunch is today and this is what I’m wearing. I love the Frances cami in this Moroccan Blue and I was finally able to purchase the Constellation Cardi on ebay. The pants are actually some cropped wide leg wool pants from the Gap a few years ago and I’m finishing off the outfit with my new Loubies.
I was inspired by Joyce this morning to get out of my work-at-home sweats and layer on some “real” clothes.
Here’s my Polyvore.
And here’s my IRL…I have a turtleneck, the Pewter Rosette Tee, Cashmere Argyle Sparkle Cardigan and the Velvet Eden Blazer.
I’m glad I changed clothes.
Our neighborhood ladies go to lunch every month. I go every once in a while only because I’m one of the only 30-something’s. Most everyone else is late 40s and up but it’s still fun and you get to hear all the neighborhood gossip.
I put tights on first but I don’t think I pulled it off so I’m going bare-legged.
The shoes – Love these…the back is so cool. It changes from purple to blue…sooo pretty. (Although I wanted these so badly I didn’t size up in them. Just a teeny bit tight on the left.)
Blouse: Leifsdottier Gathered Top (I didn’t realize it was so sheer, I think more so with the flash.)
Skirt: J Crew Deco Shirred Skirt
Tights: Anthropologie-Eloise Mullion Tights
Shoes: Heartbreak Cutout by Nanette Lepore
Necklace: Faux Pearl w/Chains – Saks Off 5th
What do you think? Tights? No Tights?
I’ll post an IRL later but here’s the Polyvore. I’ve been dying to wear this sweater and my boots. Yay for a “cool” front in South Texas!
