Shoes-day: J Crew Factory Isabelle Houndstooth Pumps and Anya Suede Ballet Flat

I love both of these shoes in today’s Shoes-day post. Let’s see if you do too!

There was no size 7 to try on in the Houndstooth Print. I have the Printed Bow Pump and am confident the sizing is the same. I tried on the 7 1/2 to be sure.

There’s almost a half-inch gap at the heel but the toe box fit nicely. The material is a poly/wool blend and feels like wool Even the print on the heel is cute!

I wish my size had been in-store. I would have bought them. When I got home I debated about it and decided to wait until the next morning. Well, wouldn’t you know it? The price went from $82.50 promo to $128 promo (regular $138), so I missed a pretty good deal, especially if you include the Gilt 30% coupon. All shoes in-store were 30% off. I know I don’t “need” them but oh, do I want them!

~ Anya Suede Ballet Flat, Crimson Maple, size 7 ~
Now, the Anya in Crimson Maple was a definite buy. The only reason I waited was to see what the price was online compared to in-store. The in-store price was much much better at 30% off, not including the coupon.

The color is very nice and these fit just like by beloved Cece’s. I’m happy I was able to add this color to my collection.

So have you tried the Isabelle Houndstooth Pumps? Or the Anya in the new colors? I would love to see this color in a leather.

Happy Shoes-day!

It's nice seeing the houndstooth. It's a print I've purchased, but not worn. I probably wouldn't wear the shoes no matter how much I love them. Great, unique color on the flats. 🙂

IKWYM…I keep trying to find outfits in my closet I would wear them with, then I see other shoes that would look just as good.
