I didn’t even notice the Linen Chevron Maxidress came in the Black Ivory. I only saw the True Blue online and never clicked to look at the details of it. I tried on a size 8 in the True Blue and that was pretty big in the chest. I tried the size 6 in the Black Ivory and that fit better though I considered sizing down one more to a 4. On the hangar I really liked the Black but once I had them both on, I liked the True Blue better. The linen is very soft and it’s lined in Cotton. Though I have no need for it, I wishlisted the True Blue
I love the gray and white of the Stripe Basket-Weave Dress. I have on a size 6 and is very fitted. I would need to go to my normal size 8 for this type of dress. I am zipped to the waist. I wish I had a Summer wedding to wear this.
Lastly, is the Crepe Maxidress in Hammock Green. I have on a Small and this fits pretty well. The shoulders could be altered a little to lift the dress a little. Movement seemed to shift the V-neck a little lower. The length is perfect, just sitting above the floor. I love both of my Silk Crepe Maxidresses so I passed on this one. I prefer the Scoopneck instead of the v-neck.
Have you tried any of these dresses? Anyone tried the Linen Maxidress in the solid colors?
Audrey the linen chevron maxidresses are beautiful on you. And don't you love that hammock green colour? I have the linen maxidress in that green and I love it. First ever maxidress, I posted a picture of it on my blog yesterday.
I agree about the scoopneck, I think a higher neck on these dresses creates more of a column effect which is very fetching!

I love the linen chevron maxidress on you! And I'm surprised that I prefer the true blue over the black, but it's much more flattering! This is one that I didn't love on the jcrew model, but now that I've seen it on you and a couple other bloggers I'm thinking I might "need" it!! 🙂
Shelley G – Thanks! Black is supposed to be more slimming but I think the Blue was more flattering even in the bigger size on me. And it's very comfortable.
I tried the Chevron Maxi and the Striped one as well. I, too, liked the white one better in the Chevron dress. Love the striped dress on you. Looks great!
