I placed my first Boden order a few weeks ago. Dina always has great reviews of Boden so I finally took the plunge. First, the Chic Denim Mini, size 8 in Indigo, fits well and is sitting on my hips. Because of this, the approximately 19 1/2 inch length is a little longer then my preferred just-above-the-knee length. There isn’t any extra room in the waist or hips so sizing to a 6 is not an option. Despite that, this is a great basic denim skirt that will look great with heels or flats. Easy to throw on for the Spring and tights and boots will transition this to Fall and Winter.
The Audrey Sweater in Navy Stitch is a size Medium. This is a wonderful sweater and fits perfectly. This is definitely something I will purchase again. The Cerulean Blue and Ivory are next on my list. One way i know that I love an item is that I wear it immediately. Within days, and because we had another temp drop, I was able to wear this sweater during my week in the office. I was comfortable and chic all day.
The Embroidered Shirt, size 8, intrigued me because of the Navy/White combo and because of the embroidery. The fit through the shoulders and chest is good but the length seems a little short, even for me. I tucked it into the Chic Denim Mini and after a little movement it started to come un-tucked. Though I love the embroidery in the front I am on the fence with this shirt.
Last is the Great White Shirt. I’ve been on the hunt for a White shirt that is not “plain Jane” and I think I’ve found it! This is the short-sleeved version and is a GREAT fit in the size 8. I steamed the ruffles and added a Jackie Cardigan over it for a long day at the office, then a Good-Bye Happy Hour and The Boy’s soccer game. I cannot wait to wear this shirt again. Absolutely Love IT!!!
I was going on blogger's dashboard this morning and I saw these reviews pop up and was all, "wait–that's AudreyBella's blog!" I am so glad you took the plunge. I just love you in the mini and the sweater–they fit you very well! I didn't even notice that the skirt had that little flippy hem. 🙂

Thanks Dina! I love the sweater and the shirt. I really like that the prices were very reasonable and the quality seems to be top-notch. There are a few new items from today that I love too! I based my sizing off your bottom size since we are the same and I'm glad everything fit so well. Though the length bothers me just a tad in the skirt I'll keep it as I do need a good denim skirt. They are just so easy to throw on.
I think the skirt is just so flattering on your frame, think of it as a regular skirt and not a mini and you'll be set. LOL. I buy the mini in the long length and they often just skim the upper part of my knee, which is mini enough for me most days!!! 🙂
Glad my reviews helped you, I use your sizing too for many J. Crew items, as we are the same size on bottom and near the same size on top!
I absolutely love Boden. I have several of their printed skirts from last summer. Purchased a couple of their blazers this year. They are well made and their style to me is timeless. I love the Paris blouse and the bow front blouse. I also like their use of colors and patterns in their clothing.
By the way, Boden has great baby clothes too!

Glad I saw this review as I was seconds away from ordering the denim skirt yesterday. That is definitely not what I would consider a mini but it does look like a very nice denim skirt, perfect to wear to work.
