I wanted to get the pictures up of these two dresses in case anyone is looking at these or on the fence about purchasing them. I was able to get both with the last 30% off.
First up is the Sequin Fete’ Dress. Slastena wears is so very well here (scroll down). This runs TTS and I am wearing a 6. Currently there are a 6, 8 and 10 left online for $99.99, down from $275.
Next up is the Lace Blouson Dress in Black. DaniBP just blogged about it today. I ordered a 6, since that was the same as the Striped Blouson I purchased a few weeks ago. I could probably size up to an 8 for a looser fit but I’m going to think about it for another day or two. It’s currently on sale for $110, down from $158. Right now, all sizes are currently available in both colors and in petite sizing as well. I love how this can be casual with sandals like the online pic or you can dress it up with heels and a sparkle-y necklace/jewelry.
Isn't the sequin dress so pretty. Slastena was right. I think it has green sequins mixed it, so it gives it a slight mermaid vibe. Every so slight. That blouson cut is great for you. Lookin' good 🙂
Love the blouson lace on you. Do not size up. Sometimes I do think many bloggers would benefit from sizing up but this one is perfect.
Unless you are uncomfortable, DO NOT size up in that lace dress. Wow! Hot! That looks so beautiful on you!

hi, I'm so glad to see another one that bought the BLouson lace dress!
I bought the petite size in white, but I liked the regular size more on the waist line ( the petite waist is to high!). Also the white dress is very see through, I do not know what to wear underneath because the striped blouson I tried with no bra. I don't see the see through issue on the black, did you wear some slip underneath?
I will return mine to get the regular size, but not sure if in white still :/

DaniBP – After seeing you in yours I questioned sizing up b/c of the lovely loose fit on you. AND, you have to check out the Striped silk version. You may want it for Paris!
Andrea – I like the white but was afraid it might be see-through. I am wearing a nude panty and bra underneath. You may want to try that with the white. HTH!

I have been eyeing that Fete dress for months, and I'm so glad to see you in it and to refresh myself with the beautiful Slastena's wearing of it. My conclusion is that it's not the dress for me, but wowza, is it ever the dress for both of you!!
The Fete sequin dress is so pretty..I was contemplating ordering it but went for the Fete mini instead as I am more partial to purple. I got it at a discount as well and recommend it! It is so sparkly and looks identical to the sequins in the sandstone "Bowdelaire" flats. Can't go wrong with some sparkle!

Lizzy T – I am most consistently a 6 in J Crew so I do think it runs TTS. I was afraid it would be too tight at the hips but the fit is great overall. HTH!
