I was inspired by Joyce this morning to get out of my work-at-home sweats and layer on some “real” clothes.

Here’s my Polyvore.

WAH OOTD

WAH OOTD by audreybella featuring J Crew

And here’s my IRL…I have a turtleneck, the Pewter Rosette Tee, Cashmere Argyle Sparkle Cardigan and the Velvet Eden Blazer.

I’m glad I changed clothes.

Our neighborhood ladies go to lunch every month. I go every once in a while only because I’m one of the only 30-something’s. Most everyone else is late 40s and up but it’s still fun and you get to hear all the neighborhood gossip.

I put tights on first but I don’t think I pulled it off so I’m going bare-legged.

With Tights…

Without Tights
The shoes – Love these…the back is so cool. It changes from purple to blue…sooo pretty. (Although I wanted these so badly I didn’t size up in them. Just a teeny bit tight on the left.)

Blouse: Leifsdottier Gathered Top (I didn’t realize it was so sheer, I think more so with the flash.)
Skirt: J Crew Deco Shirred Skirt
Tights: Anthropologie-Eloise Mullion Tights
Shoes: Heartbreak Cutout by Nanette Lepore
Necklace: Faux Pearl w/Chains – Saks Off 5th

What do you think? Tights? No Tights?

I love these skirts. The Terra Paisley Mini is the same style as the Deco Shirred Skirt and the Shirred Wool Skirt. I like the Terra Paisley and the Deco the best because I can wear them all year as opposed to the Wool skirt. I hope J Crew comes out with more for year-round wear.

Here’s what I wore to work yesterday.
Terra Paisley Mini
Viscose Tango Tank
V-Neck Short Sleeve Cardigan
Manolo Blahnik Black Campari
Crystal Cluster Ring
Multi-strand Fireball Necklace
Pearl Raindrop Necklace (not online)
Close-up of the skirt pattern
Ring – I love love this ring. I bought it in the Shore Pink because they didn’t have the gold in-store but I like the color of it a lot better than the gold (from what I’ve seen online).
Necklaces
The Pearl Raindrop Necklace full length

So I saw this on M&M’s Mommy’s polyvore and forgot all about posting an IRL. So here it is…

Full pic…

Can I be a J Crew model? I’m rockin’ the socks w/heels.

Full ruffled collar…Mandarin collar…

I kind of actually like this. I have a few other v-neck/boyfriend tees and it’s certainly similar to using a V-Neck sweater/cardi with the Frances (or Victoria). What do you think?

I work from home so my daily attire is shorts and t-shirts. About once a month or so I go in to my corporate office. That’s when I get to dress up and wear “real” clothes.

Here’s what I wore Wednesday.

J Crew Imperial Tee
J Crew Coccodrillo Pencil Skirt
Manolo Blahnik Campari-Black Patent

I love this skirt!
