I really enjoyed seeing the Holiday roll-out from J Crew last week. There are so many things I added to my wishlist and I did buy one item immediately and have already worn it.

I have an older version Tartan Shirt but it’s starting to fit a little snug. The Perfect Shirt in Stewart Plaid would be an exact replacement of it. There’s also one for Men and Boys. The shirt would go well with the Sequin Pull-on Pants. I’m always leery of getting sequined pants or skirts for fear of the sequins getting caught on something I’m sitting on.  Another perfect party item it the Perfect Party Skirt. I tried this on and will review this week but I loved it! Even in the longer length. I haven’t loved a retail pencil skirt in a while but this might just get added to my closet. I glanced over the Embellished Tippi in Glen Plaid when it came out online but it caught my eye when I saw it in-store. I ended up buying it and have already worn it. It’s has the perfect amount of subtle sparkle to it.

Accessories are plentiful in this roll-out. They always make great stocking-stuffers or last minute gifts. Especially socks like these Penguins or Bulldogs.

I tried on several items last week so I’ll have reviews coming soon!

Wow! Is Banana Republic bringing their A-game or what? I really really tried to whittle my list down to these items but there is so much I would love to have from BR right now. The colors and styles and shape are all speaking to me and they are all saying “Take me to your closet.” Let’s take a look at my picks!

I just unpacked my sweaters and Winter clothes and am so ready for the temps to drop. I forgot about all the wonderful favorites that I have. I only need a few new items to freshen them up and the Anabel Plaid Wool Scarf will go with nothing and everything in my closet. That goes for the Foulard Wide-Leg Pant too. It’s 100% Silk! The navy looks so pretty though I would still have to hem the Petite version.

I keep gravitating towards the Red Full Skirt but I have plenty of Holiday colored wear to last me years. Though it could be good for Valentine’s Day. It would also go with the Haircalf Large Pouch. I have been on the search for a Leopard Calf Hair clutch of some kind but don’t want to pay a whole lot for it since I won’t use it very often. I’m sure there will be another promo soon so that I can buy this one.

That gray with green plaid is on almost everything at Banana. And I am loving that Plaid Tweed Mini Skirt as well as the most lovely looking Three-Button Coat and Delphine Pump.I ordered the Printed Silk Bow Dress and Plaid Lace Trim Tweed Top with a nice 40% off promo last week. Look for those reviews soon! You can always see my latest picks from Banana Republic on my Pinterest Board.

And starting on November 4th (through the 8th) will be the Friends & Family event. You can take 50% off if you buy 5 full-price items, both online and in-store. What a nice way to stack up on all those new arrival beauties!

Happy Shopping!

I’m really excited about the new arrivals at J Crew.

I love the A-Line Mini Skirt in Violet Poppy as an option for my friend’s birthday weekend in November. I know I have plenty to wear but it’s always fun to have something new for a special occasion like that. I need to figure out how else to wear it and commit to wearing it more than just once or twice this year.

The Merino Sweater-Dress looks to have a bit of shape to it and the Academic Green color is beautiful. I am sure the Small will fit just fine and hit me at mid-calf in length. It will be wonderful to wear with Tall Boots too.

As a Patio Pant fan I am happy to see it in another print and texture in the Mini-Dot Wool. I’m actually happy to see more wide-leg options in both pants and jeans. They are all cropped and I’ve been happy with the Petite sizing as the crops are finally hitting just above my ankle bone without any alterations. The Rayner Jean in Keller-Wash is also on my list to try, especially since it also comes in Petite sizing.

I love that the Sleeveless Drapey Popover in Clover Print is Silk, at least that’s what the online description says. Hopefully it’s in-store and I’ll be able to confirm the material.
The Spicy Jade color of the Boy Shirt in Crinkle Gingham looks so gorgeous. I am trying to find a few sweaters in my closet to layer with it before I commit to buying it. I do have the No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Wool in Viridian Green that would probably match it.
I hate wearing turtlenecks, but love scarves. I always feel like the turtleneck is squeezing my neck. I have a few Tissue Turtlenecks that I barely tolerate. I may need to try the Tippi Mockneck Sweater. I think it would be a nice compromise to keeping not wearing a turtleneck but still keeping my neck warm.

Of course, the things I really want are excluded from the currently promo. And I’m sure they will sell out before making it to a sale price.

Do you like this latest roll-out? What are you eyeing? You can always see more of my picks on my Pinterest Board. I have a lot more shoes and cozy socks out there.

I really am liking Anthropologie’s Dress and Skirt options for Fall. There are several dresses that will work really well into my Fall Style.  The Tylho Sao Paulo Tunic Dress and the KAS New York Halli Dress will be great to wear with my Frye Shirley Boots.

Someone returned the Paper Crown Florette Maxi Dress at my store so I was able to try that on. I’ll share IRLs this week but I love the flow of the dress though I would need to size to an 8 instead of the 6 that my store had.

Both the Maeve Mazie Skirt and Cabled Colorblock Dress are adorably Mod. I was also able to try on the Cabled Colorblock Dress in-store so look for that review as well.

It is always nice to see a color option other than black for cocktail and special occasion dresses. The Byron Lars Carissima Sheath in Navy looks divine. From the online images I see that the lace detail is just slightly different between the colors offered – Navy, Black, Ivory.

What are you new favorites from Anthropologie? Are you shopping for day-to-day or already thinking ahead to Holiday parties?

While the guys are watching football, let’s do a little Sunday Shopping at Kate Spade?

I am in desperate need of some good denim trousers. I had a pair from the GAP but I wore them so much they have faded. I like having an option of a dark denim to wear instead of slacks.

That Fabled Forest Shift Dress is THE questionable item from Kate I’ve seen in a long time. I can’t even…Ugh. But watch, I’ll see it IRL and fall in love! 😉

The Read My Lips Coffee mug is one of my favorites. There’s also a Bow and Macaroons to choose from as well. Shop the rest of my picks on my Pinterest Board!

I’m actually multi-tasking by shopping AND watching football. I have a ve$ted interest since I’m in a Fantasy Football league. I came in Last Place last season. I am making sure that does NOT happen again! LOL! Here’s my Team Name and Logo, created by me with a razor, some construction paper and a little Photoshop. I’m soooo creative!

Have a Great Sunday!
