It’s always fun to look at all the retailers Holiday collections. J.Crew Factory had their roll-out recently and some you’ll recognize as similar to retail items while others look to be exclusive to the Factory/Mercantile stores. Currently, everything is 40-60% off, prices as marked online and in-store, through tomorrow. Use code SHOPSHOP to take an additional 40% off Clearance.

The Factory Faux Leather Skirt is a thinner quality than the retail skirt. It also runs a little smaller in the waist. I liked the Metallic Fair Isle Sweater though it ran a size big. You can always count on the Factory to bring blackwatch items for the Holiday, including pants, a puffer vest and even a blanket.

Two items I don’t recall being from previous retail roll-outs are the Wrap Skirt and Ruffle Shirt, which comes in solid or plaid. I like these flannel pajamas but if I wore this Union Suit I don’t think my husband would ever stop laughing at me. I loved the Lace Pencil Skirt and it fit really well in my normal size 8.

I finally went to the local J.Crew Mercantile store and tried on several pieces. The one thing that bugs me about my store, compared to the Factory B&M, is my size sells out quickly. They get a smaller stock than the Factory store so I need to remember to get to the store quickly if there’s something I really want to try on. I will share my reviews over the next few days.

J.Crew Factory is celebrating their 4-year online anniversary by offering 50% off everything, with a few exclusion, prices as marked. This is a really nice promo as some items are more than 50% and are singled out in the men’s and women’s sections, in the “cherry-on-top” section. Also, new items arrived yesterday and are included in this promo.

The Vail Parka is back and at half off nets $134. The quality is a little less than the retail version but it is still a really good duplicate of the retail Chateau Parka. Is the Merino Caryn Caridgan new? I can’t recall if it was out last year. From the online image, it looks like another replica of the retail Jackie in Merino Wool. I’ll have to see it in person to know for sure. I especially like the Heather Charcoal color. They are giving us a little tease for Holiday with the Plaid Shirt in Tartan. The one I have is a little snug so I may just get the Factory version, though I would like something a little more colorful. Here are a few of my other picks at the Factory.

Cold weather and Winter are so far off for me that it’s hard for me to really consider anything heavier than a lightweight cardigan. Although that does mean I get to lightly layer instead of bundling up.

What you adding to you wishlist from J.Crew Factory?

J Crew Factory rolled out some goodies this week and GiltCity added to that by offering a 35% off coupon! Of course, now I cannot decide what I want to order. I am finding shirtdresses will be a major part of my Fall and Winter wardrobe so I like the Light Indigo Shirtdress. I like that that it does not have a collar, allowing for a plaid or gingham button-down to be worn underneath.

I know I absolutely need that Polka Dot Caryn Cardigan. I will wear that more than the Teddie in Polka Dot. The Dark Redwood of the Button-Front Corduroy Skirt looks like the Masala Chai, at least online. I hope they bring a few more colors because I would love to see it in Navy or Black. And I always look at the men’s section for chunky sweaters and scarves. The Fisherman Sweater is back and the Donegal Shawl Collar Sweater looks cozy.

What have you added to your wishlist from the latest J Crew Factory rollout? I am hoping to get to the store next week to see some of these IRL.

New arrivals for J.Crew Factory are here. All new arrivals are 40% off, prices as marked, today and you also get Free Shipping.

I have the Sawyer Bootie in Olive Moss, purchased last year and love the Dark Gravel color offered this season. They also brought back the Leather-Pocket Tee Dress, of which I own the Madewell version {pin}. I like that it now comes in Deep Burgundy. The colors of the Tweed Pencil Skirt look just like the tweed shorts I have from Banana Republic.

Did you notice they finally have the Schoolboy Blazer? I’m sure they just renamed the old Keating Blazer. I miss the Schoolboy Blazer. I really really don’t like the Regent Blazer and it’s permanent standing collar. I think my days of buying blazers from J.Crew are officially over, especially because my beloved Schoolboy Blazer is gone.

I think I will wait until there’s a better promo. I would think there will be a 50% off coming, particularly an in-store promo. I may visit the local Mercantile store and give it another chance. I know it’s back-to-school shopping now, but they shouldn’t be sold out of new arrivals by the weekend?

This bow pump is my favorite thing from the J Crew Factory roll-out. The color along with the embossed faux-snakeskin is gorgeous. I’ll have to order these online as I know my Factory and Mercantile stores won’t carry them. But I need these in my life!

The Vintage Scarf has made it’s appearance at the Factory in a shirt, skirt and dress. I feel I need to get the Hound Dog tee in honor of our dog Gus. The little bow tie around the neck is the cutest.

There are also some repeats in the new rollout. I find the quality between the retail and factory puffer vests to be the same. I have both in different colors and they fit, wash and wear the same.

Currently, all new arrivals are “up to” 40% off, through Sunday. And you can take 50% off “Wear Now Styles”, so basically sleeveless tops, tees, and shorts.
