J Crew Factory: Embroidered Racerback Tank Top, Photographic Palm Tank

Wow! I’ve had these two reviews in the hopper for a while. I’ve worn both a few times already since receiving them.

~ Embroidered Racerback Tank Top, size 8 ~

The review I did on the retail version, the Embroidered Floral Racer Top, showed I tried on a size 6. But since I’ve been sizing to an 8 lately I ordered that size for the Factory version. From what I can recall of the retail top, this is an almost exact duplicate. It’s almost like they removed the tags from the ones that did not sell and added a Factory tag.
The size 8 was the right call in terms of fit. I don’t think my chest would have fit in the size 6 this time. I’ve worn it a few times already, particularly with the Factory Pleated Short in Bright Scarlet.
You definitely need a racer-back bra for this top.
~ Photographic Palm Tank in Airy Cotton, Medium ~

I could have sized to a Small in this tank but I wanted a little room in case I shrunk it somehow. The material is really comfortable and soft. The leaf print is only on the front. The back is all white. The tank has a slight racer-back cut so your bra strap might show a little. The Banana Tank from last Summer was the same style and material.
I have not been inside a Factory store in quite a while, choosing to make my purchases online. Since the flooding back on Memorial Day weekend, our office building has been closed to everyone except essential personnel and construction workers so there’s no reason for me to make an office visit. I do hope to get to the Outlet Mall soon over a weekend. I’m needing to visit Pottery Barn as well as Kate Spade, Tory Burch and Vince outlet shops!

Have a Great Day!

I've been hoping they bring the Factory version of the dress since I missed it the first time around. Sometimes I have better luck with the dresses from there.

I really like that palm tank. It's nice to see some original items at factory instead of retail duplicates.
