Tory Burch: Alexa Cropped Skinny Jean, Merrit Print Blouse, London Blouse, Lidia Polo, Augusta Top, Whitney Tunic

I only went in to my local Tory Burch Boutique for a specific shirt and left some great items for Spring and Summer.

I was just browsing and the SA suggested I try the Alexa Cropped Skinny Jean in Acai Red. I’ve tried some Tory jeans before and they were an awful fit on me. I think they were a Super Skinny. Because of that experience I asked for 2 sizes up from my JC Matchstick Jeans. Turns out I needed my Matchstick size of 29. You can see they are not cropped on me but I will either roll them up once or may even have them altered. They are a very nice, saturated Red and the material is not as thin as the JC colored Toothpick jeans from years prior. I’ve tried those on before and they were see through and showed everything. These will be great to wear for Valentine’s Day tomorrow.

I was drawn to the Merrit Print Blouse because of the Peter Pan collar. It just adds a nice little touch to the jersey print. I tried on a Medium and that was the best fit.

I didn’t notice until I took these pictures that the collar comes off!! Two shirts in one!

Another suggestion from the SA was the London Blouse. This is made of a Silk Jersey and feels amazingly comfortable on. I could have walked out in this shirt. Whatever vacation we go on this year, this shirt is definitely coming with me. I took my normal size Medium.
I have on a Medium in the Lidia Polo in Ocean Mist. It fits TTS and reminds me of the old JC Victoria Ruffle Tee. The color is a Periwinkle Blue and very pretty in person.
The Augusta Top was one of the reasons I went to the store. I really wanted to try it on. I grabbed a Medium but the arms were really tight. A Large would have made it bigger through the body and the boatneck saggier so I passed on it. This is made of Ponte knit so I would only get a few times of wear out of it before putting it away for the Summer. This also comes in a dress and the SA stated she sized up in that as well.
The Whitney Tunic is a relaxed fit and runs a size big. I have on a Small. I really liked this Tunic but it didn’t come home with me. Though it’s Cotton, the detailed embroidery and fringe at the hem of the sleeves and bottom make this Dry Clean only. It feels great on and would be easy to throw on over a pair of shorts of skinnies.

I know the price point for Tory Burch is not for some of you but I knew I wanted to find a few pieces that would last me longer than 3 or 4 washes that were easy to throw on. There are some cute tees that I have my eye on as well as the Lidia Polo in Stripe. See more of my picks below.
Have a Great Day!

I have the Alexa cropped in a blue-grey from.last summer and I love them. Good to know that they come in red this year as I am having a red moment. I love your other picks, especially the tunic.

Ema – They fit great. I found them in regular denim too. I love your tunic you took on your trip!

Hi VMass. Thanks for visiting the blog. I find I am taking size 8/Medium, which is comparable to J Crew.

I'm in love with that London Blouse! Oh the price, it's killing me. Do things like this ever make it to markdown at Tory Burch? I might have to keep an eye on this one. I also like that one that Ema showed on her Instagram too (the blue and white print with the split neck), did you try that one on too? Really fun picks, thank you for the reviews!

Cate – It is pricey but I returned the JC Tees I purchased along with a couple of other items I know I will wear once or twice. I know I will wear the London Blouse at least every couple of weeks for the next 6 months. And it feels wonderful on. I love Ema's tunic but would like the Solid Ivory one. My size wasn't available in either but I would suspect I take the Medium in that as well.

Thanks for the reviews. I'm going to the TB boutique tomorrow specifically to try jeans. I love the look of boot cuts and skinnys but have not tried in a while. In my experience, TB quality is great. Enjoy!

Julie – I wore them on Valentine's Day. I was able to find them in regular denim as well. I like the fit of them, maybe better than the JC Toothpicks/Matchsticks. I hope you found some you liked.

Lisa – It is very pretty but I ended up returning it. I prefer the London Blouse. I do love that the collar is removable.
