Que Bella – Owls and a Peacock

I had to head in to one of my local offices today and absolutely knew I wanted to wear this blouse. The Owl print is just so darling and I received lots of compliments today about it. I kept this outfit pretty simple since it’s a printed blouse.

Blouse: Lemon Liftoff Blouse by Girls From Savoy, 8
Jeans: GAP Essential, 8
Shoes: Christian Louboutin Simple 85 in Peacock, 37

I decided to do a single knot as opposed to a bow. I ended up un-buttoning the sleeves since they were a bit tight. Girls from Savoy is one of my favorite brands at Anthropologie and I am always excited to see their new pieces.

The hair is getting pretty long isn’t it? I have a salon appointment in two weeks and cannot wait. I’ve had short hair for so long I have no idea how to style it at this length.

So now a styling question. What would you wear with the Lemon Liftoff Blouse?

This is such a cute outfit…I love the blouse from the color to the styling!

I love that blouse! It's one thing I'm thinking about indulging in at FP if it doesn't go on sale soon!

I would definately wear it with a pencil or aline skirt. I wonder if the sleeves would be too poofy to wear under a cardi or v-neck sweater? I love the idea of the tie peeking out from a sweater. I think you could probably also wear this with a pinstripe or tweed bottom if you wanted to do a little pattern mixing. Ugh! I may have just talked myself into buying it now!!

Gorgeous blouse and I love how you've tied the bow, the colour is so vibrant.

Very cute! I would wear jeans, like you have, or some other navy or grey bottom (pants or skirt). I wouldn't wear it with green like they styled it in the website pic. I don't like yellow/green pairings.

    Great outfit!
I would definitely do a pencil skirt…the blouse is superb!

I snagged this one too! Super happy about it. I plan on layering it under tank dresses, sweater vests, and rocking it with vibrant pencil skirts and skinny jeans w/ boots. Basically everything! I love how they styled it with bold, bright colors (which I plan on doing as well), but with a more neutral pairing like jeans and brown boots and a gray sweater vest, it will still have that funky/quirky/interesting appeal with the print being so bold. I don't think you can go wrong with this one.
