I Just Had To…

…see these clutches.

J Crew Roulette Clutch – Parsley Sprig – The description says this reverses to Apple Green but I think the Parsley Sprig is the interior and the Apple Green the exterior. I think the pic online shows the Apple Green. (Don’t mind me…I’m just trying to use some logic since parsley is dark in color the interior is a darker green.)

The suede to patent effect is seamless. You can only tell by running your hand across the body of the purse.

 .
Inside…still the “ombre effect” with the suede and patent. You can also reverse the clutch and show this as the outside. (See…dark green = the color of parsley)

Without flash – Close to the true interior flap color.
Clutch Style

With the strap lengthened.

Mosaique Clutch – The pink is neon pink. The material is tweed. It’s the same concept as the Roulette Clutch.

Interior – You could reverse the clutch so the jewels are on the inside and this is the outside. Although I wouldn’t want to hide the jewels.

What do you think?

I've had my eye on the gold/beige version of that clutch since the Look Book appeared online. I like that the size is versatile. Could you use it for daytime? Have you put stuf in it to see how the shape holds up? Thank you for the photos. I can't believe that both shades of green aren't available on the site.

I think the Mosaique Clutch is really whimsical; the jewels are cute…very BLING. And I have a penchant for BLING 🙂
    Are you gonna keep it?

Oooh, lovely. I want the Roulette Clutch but I'm not warming up to either colorway at the moment. I don't wear green or yellow and I realise I don't have to match everything but I am not sure either would work with my mostly blue/pink/purple wardrobe because the colors are so vibrant – that's part of the charm. Maybe the yellow as I have a bit of orange and red, but I might just hope they release another in a cooler hue.

Thank you for sharing the review and photos. Let us know how functional they are IRL.

Thanks everyone. I hope this was helpful.

Both can hold a small slim wallet, phone, camera (small) and lipstick. It doesn't do well adding a lot to it even though there are a few pockets to use.

Even though the green of the Roulette would be the one I would use most, I already have a Kate Spade in the same color. As for the Mosaique Clutch, that pink was pretty bright IRL and kind of bothered me. I'm going to take a few more days to decide if I am going to keep one, both or neither.
