And Off He Goes (sniffle, sniffle)…

The Boy is off to his first “non-birthday” party. I’m not worried because he’s a good kid and makes good decisions (most of the time). I’m a little excited for him. But mostly…I’m just sad. My baby is growing up. When he was little, time went by so slow. Now it seems like one big blur.

He went from this.

To this…

Sigh…high school is next, then driving and girls, then college and his own life. Have fun kiddo.
I’m off to convince Husband to take me to SATC 2…or shopping. Something to cheer me up.
Have a FANTASTIC evening and a GREAT holiday weekend!

Ooh, scary times. Well, not in a bad way. Just happy/excited/sad for you. I hope he has a lot of fun 🙂

The boy looks so good in his whites! It is so normal for you to feel sad, I have been there, twice! It is sad to see the time go by, but that feeling of pride that you've done a great job doesn't go away!

what a handsome young Man–now and then! He looks as "excited" (haha) to have his picture taken as my Son does! Sometimes I have to actually bribe my Son so he'll agree to take a pic.!!! smile

Hee hee! I think my son is at the exact halfway point between those 2 pictures. I know just how you feel-time goes so fast! He's a fine looking boy who looks like he's got quite a few more inches to grow! Good luck with that party…..
