Ladies Luncheon OOTD

Our neighborhood ladies go to lunch every month. I go every once in a while only because I’m one of the only 30-something’s. Most everyone else is late 40s and up but it’s still fun and you get to hear all the neighborhood gossip.

I put tights on first but I don’t think I pulled it off so I’m going bare-legged.

With Tights…

Without Tights
The shoes – Love these…the back is so cool. It changes from purple to blue…sooo pretty. (Although I wanted these so badly I didn’t size up in them. Just a teeny bit tight on the left.)

Blouse: Leifsdottier Gathered Top (I didn’t realize it was so sheer, I think more so with the flash.)
Skirt: J Crew Deco Shirred Skirt
Tights: Anthropologie-Eloise Mullion Tights
Shoes: Heartbreak Cutout by Nanette Lepore
Necklace: Faux Pearl w/Chains – Saks Off 5th

What do you think? Tights? No Tights?

Different shoes, please. Something is off in the outfit and I think it's the shoes. Also, do you have a nude or darker underpinning for the top? I can see something white or light peering through. Have fun! I miss our annual holiday cookie parties in our old home. Great time.

Anon – I changed to dark trouser jeans and put on a tank underneath that was the same color as the top.

Yes, as cute as these shoes are, they have a thick ankle strap which is not very flattering to most legs (cuts the leg). Either keep the whole leg very solid, opaque black tights and then these shoes or wear them with pants (maybe cropped would be okay) but this is not good with a mini. Your pattern tights have too much detail for the whole outfit and need to be opaque IMO.
