J Crew Factory September Arrivals

J Crew Factory rolled out some goodies this week and GiltCity added to that by offering a 35% off coupon! Of course, now I cannot decide what I want to order. I am finding shirtdresses will be a major part of my Fall and Winter wardrobe so I like the Light Indigo Shirtdress. I like that that it does not have a collar, allowing for a plaid or gingham button-down to be worn underneath.

I know I absolutely need that Polka Dot Caryn Cardigan. I will wear that more than the Teddie in Polka Dot. The Dark Redwood of the Button-Front Corduroy Skirt looks like the Masala Chai, at least online. I hope they bring a few more colors because I would love to see it in Navy or Black. And I always look at the men’s section for chunky sweaters and scarves. The Fisherman Sweater is back and the Donegal Shawl Collar Sweater looks cozy.

What have you added to your wishlist from the latest J Crew Factory rollout? I am hoping to get to the store next week to see some of these IRL.

Ooh! Can’t wait for your reviews. I’m always so appreciative of them – we have the same complexion, size, and shoe size, and you have helped me so much in my purchasing decisions. Thank you so much!

I bought the cord skirt (item f5897). I’m normally a 2 or 4 in skirts and i originally bought this one in a size 2. It’s big. Not so big that I couldn’t wear it, but I did re-order it in a size 0. Waiting for that to be delivered, but I do recommend sizing down.

Thanks for the tip on the skirt Joy. I have yet to make it to the Factory/Mercantile store but hope I can this weekend to try everything on!

Oh no!! ^^^ That cord skirt is also on its way to me, so I’ll see how it works out for me. Opted for this one instead of the pretty JC one, only because I bought the Sammie cords in that Masala Chai color & I didn’t want to be pegged as ‘the girl who wears that creamy brown’ in the office, haha! (But it really is such a delicious color!) I’ll let you know how the skirt turns out. I also ordered a cute Flamingo tee, a burgundy wool skirt, a navy gingham popover, and their version of JC’s Graphic Peony skirt from last year. Stay tuned!
