Hi everyone. Blogger having issues gave me some time to take a break until the kinks were worked out. (Not sure if they still are but anyway.)
I was able to find the Horkelia Shift Dress in the Orange color and I am such a fan of this Spring/Summer color. I tried on the 8 originally and found it to be shapeless and loose, but then again it is a shift dress. I then tried the 6 and found it to fit a little better through the waist. The orange wasn’t see through that I could tell but I was wearing nude under-clothing. I can see the crochet lace snagging and the original dress I tried on already had a few snags and was unraveling.
The Ivory was available but it didn’t interest me so I didn’t try it on.
What do you think? Keep or take back and wait for sale?
I think the dress is very pretty and looks great on you, but it's your choice whether to return or not. I wouldn't. 😉
Eh. I love the stronger contrast colors on you — turquoise, etc… This one isn't saying anything to me. Maybe it's just what I see on my monitor. I'd be interested in the ivory contrast w/your skin tone. $.02
Love this dress and it looks great on you! I tried on the orange and the ivory. Will post about it later. My 2 cents: keep it and lose the Siesta (my guess is that the Siesta will get marked down sooner than you think…it just can't compete with the Mirabel).
On second thought, if you are on a budget and worried about snags, return it! I don't want to be an enabler =(

Lovely dress. I like this color of orange more than some of the brighter shades available this season, it seems softer and a bit more coral. I would be worried about snags if they look like they would be difficult to fix or highly visible, but I'm a bit of a clutz when it comes to snagging clothing. :^(
